Electrical Wiring Systems Division Wins Three “Best of the Best” Awards
WEST HARTFORD, Conn., August 22, 2012 – Legrand EWS Electrical Wiring Systems Division has won three “Best of the Best” Marketing awards from the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED). Legrand/Cablofil was honored for both the press kit and sales kit promoting the new Delta Strut™ Photovoltaic Support System. Legrand/Wiremold won an award for the launch of the new Evolution™ Series Floor Box. The awards were presented on August 21 during NAED’s AdVenture Marketing Conference in Chicago.
The launch of the new Wiremold® floor box included a brochure, dedicated website landing page, videos, print and digital ads, press releases, newsletter articles and more. Judges, as quoted in TED Magazine, commented: “This hit all the bases; it’s what a product launch should be! Across a variety of channels, the company consistently and effectively communicated its differences using straightforward language and very clean visuals.”
The introduction of the Delta Strut system was accompanied by a sales kit and a press kit – and both received awards. According to the judges, “Legrand/Cablofil has taken a complicated product and made it very easy to understand. I love the mini-model in the sales kit – it’s an excellent example of a selling kit and a companion brochure that makes a fairly complex subject easy to understand and appeals to end-users, contractors, architects, and engineers.” The judges also noted that the press kit was “a nice stand-alone press kit that was also part of an integrated campaign, product launch, and direct promotion. I liked how Legrand/Cablofil used multiple channels to communicate its new Delta Strut product; a very effective campaign.”
