Nuvo Adds In-Wall Keypad Control to Player Portfolio Whole-Home Audio System

DALLAS, October 15, 2015 – Legrand has announced two new additions to its Nuvo Player Portfolio hybrid audio system here at the 2015 CEDIA Expo that are focused at giving installers more flexibility for meeting customer needs. The new Nuvo P10 Keypad, a wall-mounted, Power-over-Ethernet keypad that delivers single-zone control of the audio’s volume, track, and source, makes the Player Portfolio the first wired/wireless system to offer an integrated keypad option. The company also announced new drivers for Crestron and Control4 that deliver seamless integration of the Player Portfolio homes using these popular control systems.

New Software for the Nuvo Player Portfolio Reduces Cost and Simplifies Installation

Eliminates Gateway Component as Wireless Players Connect Directly to Router
MIDDLETOWN, PA, October 1, 2015 – Legrand, the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, has announced new software for its Nuvo Player Portfolio system, making its multiroom wireless system less expensive and easier to install. The new software, version 3.0, eliminates the need for the system’s Gateway, enabling the system’s P100, P200, and P300 wireless players to connect directly to a home’s existing WiFi router. A step-by-step setup wizard is included in the software to simplify installation, which is all completed by way of the app.  Users will also need to download a free update to their iOS or Android app from the App Store or Google Play.

Nuvo Adds iHeartRadio as Part of Player Portfolio System Software Update

HEBRON, Kentucky., June 30, 2015 – Nuvo®, the industry leader in wired and wireless multiroom audio engineered for the professional installer, has added iHeartRadio to its Player Portfolio hybrid wired/wireless audio system as part of the company’s Version 2.0 software update.  The software, which automatically prompts the user to update within the music system’s user interface, also delivers additional features and improvements for users and installers, including ‘seek’ capability within tracks, improved SiriusXM playback, and upgraded system stability and performance. Users will also need to download an update to their iOS or Android app, and these can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
