On-Q Studio Collection Gains Traction
Legrand Home System’s On-Q Studio Collection Offers Unparalleled Style and Capabilities for the Production Market
Harrisburg , PA, January 19, 2010 —Legrand Home Systems, the leader in home systems, announces that the recently shipped Studio Collection is finding favor among future-minded builders. The Studio Collection embodies both elegant design and advanced functionality, and includes intercom, audio and camera systems.
“Legrand Home Systems provides innovative products with abundant capabilities to meet our homebuyer’s needs and lifestyles,” said Jerry Aguirre, president of SH Communities in Miami, FL. Aguirre is including the Studio Collection in select new homes, and also has it installed in his personal home. “We love the multi-room audio feature. We get to listen to the music we love without dealing with the hassles and mess that come with wiring and cables. There’s no frenzied search for remote controls; everything is on a simple keypad. We can even enjoy the music in our beautiful patio, or when we’re having a dinner party on our deck.”
The On-Q Studio Collection from Legrand Home Systems brings the best of global art and living influences into the modern American home. The collection includes:
The Selective Call Intercom System: This revolutionary intercom system features innovative technology, unrivaled personalization options, and elegant design. It enables room-to-room communication at the touch of a button, and supports up to three simultaneous, private conversations – the only intercom in the industry to do so.
The lyriQ Whole House Audio System: Available in both multi-source and single source versions, the lyriQ system distributes high quality audio throughout the home, and even outdoors. One room, or the whole house, can be controlled from each keypad or through use of a universal remote. The system also includes a local source input, allowing music from a local source such as an iPod to override the main source music in one room.
The Camera System: This camera system includes a new, unobtrusive ball camera with no external wires or mounts. The camera enables color video with optional audio and is optimized for low light conditions. It also features a weatherproof finish, enabling easy outdoor monitoring at any time of day. The system includes two options for viewing camera images – a new LCD Console, equipped with a 7” screen to provide wide-angle viewing, and a TV Display Interface, which enables viewing of camera images on the TV screen.
1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-Gang Wall Plates: Available in 17 contemporary color options, these decorator style plates feature a design and form-factor never before available to homeowners. The design, a sculptural flow of curves with titanium edging and a screwless finish, offers homeowners a new way to integrate home systems products with personal style and taste throughout the entire home.
“The Studio Collection represents Legrand Home System’s vision of the future of home technology: homebuyers want products that are easy to operate, include comprehensive functionality and are contemporary in design,” said Dave Hanchette, vice president of marketing for the Legrand Home Systems division. “Technology in the home is no longer a visual afterthought. The Studio Collection gives homebuyers options beyond the standard white and light almond, allowing them to make home systems an extension of their home’s décor.”
