Middletown, PA, December 15, 2011 – Legrand today announced multiple executive appointments in its Home Systems division which are designed to create a clearer focus and direction on the brand, leverage the key skill sets of standout performers to better serve its partners and customers, and advance Legrand’s long-term product-centric strategies.
Effective January 1, 2012, Legrand has appointed Fritz Werder as its vice president and brand general manager for the Home Systems division. In this position he will be responsible for the continued growth of the On-Q® product line, including operations, engineering, product management and development, manufacturing, marketing, customer service, technical support and all service elements of that line.
“Fritz Werder combines a wealth of home systems product expertise with intimate understanding of customer requirements,” said Doug Fikse, president of the Home Systems division of Legrand. “We are all extremely excited to watch the On-Q product line reach new heights under his strong vision and leadership.”
Werder joined Legrand with the acquisition of Greyfox in 2002, with continued internal growth in the operations and facilities areas.
