Legrand Names Harrington as Director of Engineering


MIDDLETOWN, PA., January 12, 2015 – Legrand, the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, today announced that Paul Harrington has joined Legrand North America as director of engineering. Harrington will lead the company’s home systems product development for its On-Q and Nuvo product lines.

“Paul’s knowledge and background in Ethernet technology and IP architecture made him an ideal choice for this position. His vast experience with connected devices will further enhance our mission to deliver differentiated, easy-to-use home automation systems and subsystems,” said Fritz Werder, VP and general manager of On-Q and Nuvo product lines. “We look forward to him leading our innovation strategy and the execution of our product roadmap.”

Harrington brings extensive leadership experience in software and hardware design, having most recently held the position of vice president of engineering for B&B Electronics, an OEM provider of connectivity and communications products.  Prior to his time at B&B, Harrington held engineering positions for residential broadband solutions provider Westell and for data center equipment manufacturer Panduit.
