Legrand to Preview new LX Cabinet at Cisco Live

Advance look at an advanced data center solution

LX Cabinet

NEW LONDON, June 8, 2015 – Legrand, a global leader in high performance network infrastructure hardware, will offer a preview of a new cabinet system for enterprise level data centers from June 8-11 at Cisco Live in San Diego. The LX Cabinet system from the Ortronics product line will be displayed in Booth 2701. Members of the development team will be available to discuss features of this new cabinet.

Legrand’s team has achieved the goal of a flexible cabinet platform with superior modular cable management, scalable thermal management, a range of security options and a new patent-pending frame. The LX Cabinet is designed with features that customers specify to meet their precise application requirements. “Every application and customer site poses their own unique challenges. The LX arrives ready to go with the features the customer specifies, including airflow and cable management for quick deployment,” said Product Manager Daniel Gosselin.

This cabinet will be manufactured in the U.S. on the East and West coasts, minimizing lead times and the carbon footprint of delivery. Each facility has an extensive engineering and manufacturing team with the ability to create purpose built solutions for customer-specific applications.

The LX Cabinet System was a finalist in the 2014 DatacenterDynamics Future Thinking & Design Concepts Award. These awards recognize significant contributions to the data center industry.

The LX Cabinet meets the five critical elements highlighted in Legrand’s Connected Infrastructure approach to data center efficiency and savings. These include maximum performance, time saving, space availability, customer experience and sustainability.
