Legrand/Pass & Seymour Wide Slide Dimmer Gives Lighting Control a "Facelift"

SYRACUSE, N.Y., February 23, 2011 – Legrand/Pass & Seymour, a leading provider of electrical wiring devices and home systems, introduces its new Wide Slide Dimmer. With an interchangeable face, homeowners can switch the dimmer color without having to change the device.

“The interchangeable face is a great feature, because it offers flexibility for painting or remodeling,” said Keith Falkenberg, product manager at Legrand/Pass & Seymour. “If the room’s color scheme changes, homeowners won’t have to buy a different device to match. They can simply switch the dimmer face plate to go with the new color.”

Color choices include white, ivory, and light almond. The Dimmer also has energy-saving benefits and allows homeowners to enjoy the most pleasing light level for any task.

The Wide Slide Dimmer can operate single pole or 3-way circuits, and comes in preset and slide-to-off models. It’s available in 700- and 1100-watt versions, with no derating required on the 700-watt unit.
