Wattstopper® DLM System Now Included in DesignLights Consortium® Qualified Products Listing

San Jose, Calif., February 28, 2018 – Legrand, North & Central America today announced that the Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management (DLM) System is now qualified as an Interior system in the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Qualified Product List (QPL), an important distinction as DLC certification is a requirement for many utility rebate programs. It also signifies that the product meets all DLC required features and that the manufacturer has formally reported information on additional features for comparison purposes.

Charles Knuffke, Wattstopper Systems VP and Evangelist at Legrand commented, “We’re pleased to be included in the DLC’s Networked Lighting Controls QPL and extremely impressed by the depth of technical information the DLC collected from each manufacturer. Providing the information they required for a system as broadly capable as DLM was no small undertaking.”

The Networked Lighting Controls QPL, the first and only QPL of its kind, identifies systems that are eligible for utility incentives. The QPL also serves as a product comparison tool for architects, specifiers, engineers, and contractors.

The DLC is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the widespread adoption of high-performing commercial lighting solutions. The organization promotes high-quality, energy-efficient lighting products in collaboration with utilities and energy efficiency program members, manufacturers, lighting designers, and federal, state, and local entities.

Wattstopper DLM is a scalable, best-in-class platform that provides control infrastructure at every switch, outlet, and lighting load for optimal energy performance. DLM solutions meet industry needs for products that satisfy energy codes, and they adapt to new energy management and transformative lighting requirements by focusing on improving the experience in critical areas of the project journey from design, mobilization, installation, and first use.
