Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible app and unreliable As other reviewer stated, these are nice looking, but they most of the time it doesn't work with Alexa, due to issues with Legrand app. I have multiple smart switches with other brands and they work fine. Called support, they have you reset at breaker. It resolves temporarily, then will disconnect again. I dont bother calling anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The switch is great if you don't use the wifi app! the wifi app associated with this switch is TERRIBLE! It works 1 out of 10 times and then out of the next 10 time it will not work the first 9 times. I down loaded the app and uninstalled it 5 times before giving up! I got the front porch lights to work one of the times but it did not get past finding the wifi connection for the slider door lights which never got recognized. At this time the switch itself works turns the lights on and off. The app does not work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dropping off wifi We had a number of these installed during remodel of entire home over a dozen total. Everything worked great for a couple months and then one dropped off became dim in the app and could not be controlled. Had to delete and re add to the wifi. 2 months later 3 more had dropped and required adding. Each time this means pulling off wall plates to scan the qr code. Today my wife says a bedroom the front porch lights and morning can no longer be controlled by the app Google home or our smart assistant. Getting tired of having to delete and re-add switches for no apparent dinner

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Switch, Terrible WIFI I love the switch design and matches others in my house. I need WIFI control which is not earthbreaking technology. But this doesn't set up well, scenes aren't reliable and it just disconnects from wifi erratically. Why would Legrand engineers get away with such inconsistent network/software design. I called tech support after first problem and got help. After it happened again to call, I can't get through to tech support.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needs a lot of work This switch is almost impossible to set up. It took hours to get it to pair with my wifi. It also disconnects itself constantly causing you to have to reset the device, rescan the code and repair! What a nightmare! The scanning of the qr code to scan is quite odd, what if you lose it? Overall a great concept but these do not work well at all.

Questions & Answers

In the Legrand Smart Lights App, what are "Groups" used for? I can put multiple smart switches into a group, but I still can't use the group in a scene. Nor can I turn the whole group on or off together. What good are groups?

Asked by: tkb65
Groups are used to control multiple switches at the same time. For example, I have 2 switches that control lights in my Garage. When I want to turn on the lights, I want to turn them both on at the same time. Solution, I set up a group for both lights, and I can simply turn them on or off quickly with 1 press in the app. Scenes are for setting up timed events that your lights turn on/off automatically per a schedule that you set up.

Connected all my devices and the led is still blinking amber. This is becoming very trouble some with this product. Very poor software and customer service. Can't even email someone directly

Asked by: bdmike99
I had this happen to 2 of my switches (1 already installed and was working and the second was a brand new one out to the box). I tried a few times throughout the week to reset , with no results. Tried it again and reset my google nest and shut the power off to the switches and once I returned the power to them, they were able to sync up.

When light switch is on, the LED blinks white at a high frequency (not to be confused with the slow blink for an update). Is this normal?

Hi, I 've had two switches installed recently. Both of them grouped together under the same scene. Both turn on when they should, but one doesn't turn off when they should. Any ideas?

Asked by: bdmike99
I completed all suggestions and still have issues. The only difference is now the other switch doesn't turn off at the correct time versus the other one does. The resyncing works for 1-2 days, then back to not working. I shouldn't have to keep resyncing my lights. Probably return these and try a different brand.

Why there is no black, graphite and dark bronze colors? Can I buy a non-smart switch and replace the face panel on the smart one?

Asked by: Alexander
The Smartlights dimmer is currently only available in Light Almond, Nickel, and White. The color change kits will not work with them at this time. There has been some discussion for adding the interchangeable color facekits for this line, but it will take some time if it's approved.

Will this work in a 3 way, if the non smart switch is a radiant dimmer switch? The smart switch being a non dimmer.

Asked by: AG246
The WWRL10WHCCV2 will only work with a standard 3way switch(non dimmer) to complete a 3way application. You can use the Smart dimmer(WWRL50WHCCV2) and a HMRW(remote dimmer) if you want to dim and have Wi-Fi capability in a 3way setup.

black electrical tape or solid white electrical tape to match the white. use a super small hole punch to punch out a dot. place over the led to black it out. you can also use clear colored tape to change the color as well!
