Questions & Answers

Is there an replacement kit to go from the W-1000A to a UT-300/305 due to the different shape and mounting? Or any documentation to help the installers with changing out the obsolete W-1000 to the recommended replacement of a UT-300?

Asked by: Frank
Hi Frank, Sorry but at this time we do not have documentation for the exchange from W series to UT-300 series. Please follow the instructions included with the new sensor for mounting instructions or reach out to tech support for more help. What is the difference between this one and the W-1000A?

Asked by: Smiley74
The current draw is the biggest difference between the 2 sensors. The UT-355 has a 40ma current draw and you can have up to 5 sensors on one BZ power pack. The W1000A has a 16ma current draw and you can have up to 9 sensors on one BZ power pack.
