Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They do their job! But why skimp on connections? I used these in a government building. The concealment and paintability of this product made for a rather inconspicuous and blended look into the wall. I give 4/5 stars because I wish that more connections would be provided, (couplers, elbows, etc.) even if it marks up the price a buck or two. I know it does NOT cost the company $2.99 to manufacture and package an elbow, but it does cost that to buy a single elbow. I would just appreciate the effort of throwing in a couple couplers and the standard 90 degree elbows. In my opinion, those two are the most used connections, especially with my experience hiding cords with this brand. Again, great brand and product! I just do not want to have to pay almost $3 for something that could have been added to the bag for an additional x>= 10 cents. Thank you!

Hi Andrew, The C210 kit is a low voltage cord concealer, it would not have negative consequences using it for the cords you have in question.

Can adhesive be removed from wall without doing damage?

Asked by: Ron
Hello, Yes, the adhesive can be removed without damaging the wall. One method is to use vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the vinegar on the adhesive and let it sit for a period of time and then carefully remove the adhesive with a putty knife. Thanks,

I am looking to purchase 45 and 90 degree angle wire covers for Cordmate II but having difficulty locating them based on the retailer information provided on your site. Where can they be purchased?

Asked by: Writeadb
Hello, The Cordmate II system is equal to our 2800-WH series on the commercial division. Here is a link to the product spec sheet will all available parts, unfortunately there are no 45° angles available and it would be best to make that connection on site using a miter saw. These can be ordered through a local distributor in your area is the local retailers cannot access them. All of the parts on the spec sheet that being with "28" are compatible with the 2800/CordMate II system. https://legrand.webdamdb.com/directdownload.php?ti=55654545&tok=NtS7RomkuRIlmrK2hmuWzwRR If you need help with where to purchase locally you can do the following: Click this link for "where to buy" - https://www.legrand.us/where-to-buy Select "shop local or find a sales rep" Under "Where to buy" select "distributor" Under "brand name" select "Wiremold" Lastly, input your zip code and hit search. The list of distributors will populate below the map.

Do you sell multi packs of the tracks that match those included in the c210? I'm looking at Home Depot an you can by a single 5 foot track for $15.50 or $21 for 3 tracks plus a bunch of connectors. Seems weird the big cost difference.

Asked by: Need multti-pack c50
The channel included with the C210 is sold through electrical distributors in 6' lengths under p/n 2800-WH. It's sold in standard packages of 120'.

Does Cord Mate ll come in colors other than white and black?

Asked by: Beans
Hello, The Cordmate system is only available in a white finish. We do offer it in a ivory finish on the commercial side as part number 2800. Since the product is PVC is can easily be painted to match the surface. It would be suggested to prime and paint using a latex based paint. For assistance with the commercial part numbers please contact the factory directly at 1-800-621-0049 option 3.

How do I open this to add more cords?

Asked by: Alyco242
Hello, The best suggestion would be to squeeze the the end of the track. Once you compress it the cover will allow you to "peel" it open. Once you get the end started just slide your finger the rest of the way to release the rest of the cover.

How do you remove this from a wall without harming the wall?

Asked by: abz3
The adhesive provided on the Cordmate as well as our other Raceways strongly bonds to the wall. This is very desirable for most applications. However, in some cases it probably isn't because if you try to remove the Cordmate from the wall after it sticks it is likely to cause some damage. It will leave behind a residue which will be difficult to clean and could pull some of the surface off of the drywall with it as it comes off. The following methods can be used to remove the product and adhesive from the wall; 1) Using a spray bottle, spray vinegar directly where the adhesive is adhered to the wall. Let the vinegar soak in to the adhesive for a period of time. The vinegar will help deteriorate the adhesive. A putty knife can be used to pry the product/adhesive away from the wall surface. 2) Use a citrus based adhesive remover from a local hardware store. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

Can I fit an HDMI cable and 16 gauge extension cord inside one channel?

Asked by: TIMOTHY
The channel is capable of holding a max of two cat 6 size cables, roughly .25" - .27" dia. I would measure, or look up the specs the cables you're using and see if they are close to that.

Will this product stick to stucco wall? If not can you recommend one that does?

Asked by: Heshie75v
The adhesive tape on that raceway is intended for mounting to clean, dry, grease-free, smooth surfaces. The texture of Stucco wall will most likely not allow it to adhere properly.

I just bought this product, but there is a warning on it concerning the presence of DEHP. The website mention that this product is RoHS compliant (no mention of that on the packaging itself) but I thought RoHS banned DEHP. Can you tell me more about it?
