Dual Functionality A Define Plus!
Not only do these Legrand Radiant Outlets look fantastic, their dual functionality is an added plus! It took me less than five minutes to switch out my old outlet for the new “screwless” Radiant version, and I now have two easy access USB charging ports in addition to my two electrical outlets. We love the modern look, color and functionality of this product and have opted to switch all of our kitchen outlets and switches to the Legrand Radiant products.

Huge Difference
You never would think that adding something as simple as a USB into an outlet would make such a huge difference in my everyday life. Mostly everything today uses USB to charge, so being able to place my USB directly into the outlet without a plug just makes it easier. I know it's something simple but it just makes a huge difference. I can still plug in other appliances as well, which is great because I usually charge my phone in my kitchen using a USB cord and a plug. Now I can keep my things plugged in and charge my phone. The graphite color really brings something extra, it blends so well with my backsplash and gives a cool look to my kitchen.

I received a USB Charger/15A Tamper-Resistant Duplex Outlet for review and i can really say it is amazing!!! I installed it in the kitchen and now it's so easy plugging my phone or i pad to charge...I've only had it for a month so hopefully it will keep on working great...

I loved this Legrand radiant USB Charger Outlet it was very easy to install its great you can charge your phone and other electronics right from your outlet makes it very convenient close to your desk or bed or kitchen outlet makes it easy always being able to find a USB to plug everything in I highly recommend this to replace your outlets with I loved the dark bronze color goes great with your décor.

Elegant and Functional
If you're like me there are not enough outlets in my bedroom to power my devices along with standard items like a lamp and alarm clock plus a cell phone and E-reader. This product can and will resolve that problem. Not only can you plug in 2 items you can also charge 2 items via USB cords. Well made with even a plate that covers the screws makes your outlet look nice. Can't wait to upgrade all of my outlets to these. My only negative is that the instructions are printed in tiny typeset so they are a little hard to see!

Modern look! Works well easy to hook up!
This duplex outlet is great it has 2/ 3 way plugs, which is a neccessity in my home as I have mostly traditional 2 prong plugins in my walls. I am able to charge my laptop with ease. I love this product has usb charge as well my phones, tablets etc can charge fast up to two devices at a time. The color and its functions are very upscale and modern. The color is very dark and shiny very appealing to the eye and very new/different. The tamper resistant shutters protect my children from electric shock. This product was very easy and straightforward to install, I replaced a 2 prong with this duplex outlet and just turned off breakerbox labeled exsisting wires , disconnected unwanted 2 prong outlet, removed outlet and replaced with duplex outlet with corresponding wires as shown in booklet diagram and restored power and it worked perfectly! Definately feel like this product will last a longtime in my household and is needed around my home, will purchase more in near future.

Awesome outlet, but the USB port is what makes this thing a total home run. It’s so nice to not have to deal with fighting my daughter for the cell phone charger anymore. And instead of replacing the whole thing, now we can just get a new chord and plug it straight into the wall.

This outlet is well rounded!
This outlet works great. I like the dark bronze finish to it. I also like the fact that it has two usb outlets so that way I use use it to charge my cell phone. Overall it is a very well rounded product that should be in all homes.

Tamper resistant and sleek looking
These tamper resistant outlets are the best! They're especially great because my toddler god daughter comes over frequently and I don't have to worry about her playing with them. I also really love the sleek design of this outlet. It is matte black which looks so upgraded in my home with my black stainless appliances. Its super easy to install and i love the screwless plates.

The Legrand radiant® USB Chargers with Duplex Tamper-Resistant Outlets is such a simple and smart idea. It allows charging for USB devices while still leaving room to use other appliances that plug it. I have it in the living room where I am able to charge devices without unplugging our house phone and light. It also charges the device faster than before. Installing it was really simple and somthing my husabnd did really quickly. I am planning to replace an outlet in the kitchen and in the family room so I can have this option there too.

Easy installation
I received the USB Charger/15A Duplex Outlet free to try out and I was so happy I did. The installation was realy easy to do and once it was installed it looked very nice. The fact that it has 2 USB outlets makes it more useful since we can plug in various electronics at once. It's made of very good hard durable material and its for sure going to last for a long time.

Love usb outlets!
Great outlet! Love having the convenience of having a USB port so I don’t need the wall adapter when charging my phone. That frees up the outlet for other things. (2) 3 prong outlets and (2) usb outlets. So I am able to charge to 2 phones together all while still having 2 other cords plugged in. 4 devices in total. Definitely recommend!

I was given the chance to sample this product from tryitsampling in excgange for my honest opinion. This is great for most everyone because we all have something to charge! Great for phones, tablets...ANYTHING that requires a USB plug! The install was very easy, requiring basic knowledge on outket install. Always Youtube if you are not a DIY person! I get daily use of this outlet. It charges things quickly! I already bought two more for other rooms my house!

We installed this in one of the busiest areas of the house where we always wish we had a charger...the kitchen. Instead of needing a box for the USB cord, we could plug our phones straight into the outlet. It also has 2 regular outlets for other appliances. We will purchase more for the bedrooms.

Easy installation and very convenient!
Love these! I have added 3 to my home so far. The installation is simple and having the convenience of just plugging in my usb device without having to unplug something else is fantastic. I installed the first one in the kitchen and instantly noticed how helpful it is. I am able to charge my phone while watching my favorite shows and keep on cooking using the outlets. After trying the first one I had to get more! I added another in the living room and it’s great to just be able to plug into the usb without having to unplug a lamp to do so! The one in the bedroom makes life simpler for us: no more worries of unplugging the alarm clock by accident! These really do make a difference and such a great quality, definitely will be adding more!

So convenient
I recieved the Legrand radiant USB chargers with duplex tamper resistant outlet from tryitsampling and if truly is phenomenal. It was easy to install and I am now able to plug in two items as well charge two devices such as my ipads, phones, or my kindles. I really makes it much easier and more convenient to charge my devices. I am super happy with this product. It looks great on my wall and I have already purchased four more for my home.

Can I simply install a straight wire under the screw plate? I don’t see how I could wrap the wires and fit them under the plate.
Yes this item allows for back and side wire. You can either wrap around the screw or put the wire in straight under the pressure plate and tighten it down.

Two wires on one screw lug is not code in USA. You can wire nut the 2 wires together with a pigtail wire out to the plug.

I have an existing outlet with one socket controlled by a wall switch. Does this product work similarly to my existing outlet so that one socket could still be controlled by the existing wall switch?
This outlet does not have a split circuit tab that would allow You to control one outlet with a switch and have the other outlet constantly hot. If You used a switch You would be switching the whole unit on and off.

Our USB outlets can be used in kitchen/bathroom areas near a sink as long as they are either on a GFCI breaker or are installed downstream from an existing GFCI outlet for protection.

Does this unit use electric when not in use, and how much?
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our TM826USB outlet/USB combo device. This product uses about .25 mA of current when nothing is plugged in to the USB ports. With the unit being used for 120 V, the power consumed when nothing is plugged in is 0.03 W or about 30 mW, which is minimal. Hope this helps!

There are only two screws on this, i want to use this in the middle of the run of outlets in a room. Is it safe to connect two hot and two common wires to the single screws so I can continue the run?
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our TM826USB USB/outlet combination device. This product should have pressure plates in the back of the unit. There should be two holes next to each screw. You can insert one hot wire and the hot feed for the downstream units into the holes next to the hot screw and tighten the screw down. The same goes for the neutral wires.
