Worked good
This dimmer was installed for some outdoor porch lights, and it worked well with the led wafer lights I chose. No flickering. The only thing was that it didn’t dim all the way down right out of the box. There’s an adjustment dial I could’ve played with but 20-30% was what I wanted anyway.

Clean lines, easy to use
This product brings the elegance in my house up a notch. I placed this in a bathroom that I recently redid and it felt like it changed the whole appearance. To spend thousands on new fixtures and not replace the light switches didn't make sense to me so I updated accordingly. Product worked well as I had to replace a very old broken dimmer switch in our exsisying kitchen. It was a easy change over and this dimmer works so much better. We had the old push and turn ones, but it broke so it was just a peg you hit in so this one is much nicer and works well.

Easy to install for DIY home owner , priced with competition. This dimmed nicely with no flickering of the lighting , when used with HIGH QUALITY LED BULBS ( a lot of people are not aware the flickering you get sometimes is from the lower quality bulbs not your DIMMER SWITCH ) enjoyed having the optional color plates, as i was going to change all my electrical devices to white

What a great Dimmer Switch
I knew that my husband would love this product! It was a great addition to our dining room. The color fit just right and having the dimming feature is something that I love. My husband is proficient in doing general laborer things, so installing this was not at all a problem for him. I'm not sure if it would be hard for someone with no experience or not. I do love it though and I'm sure someone could youtube the instructions if needed!

this dimmer works and looks nice - love the graphite appearance. I am having a problem getting used to the flip switch with slider-on-the-side configuration. the bathroom 4-light fixture bulbs flutter as I am moving the slider, but figure there must be a reason for it. I do wish I had gotten a more basic style dimmer switch. this separate side-slider to dim my lights makes simply flipping on lights not quite so simple

Love the control with this!
I’ve had this installed for several weeks now and it was actually pretty simple to install plus I love the control with being able to dim my halogen lightbulb when I choose to. This Legrand radiant® CFL/LED Dimmer Switch, 450 Watt has great features and looks very stylish on the wall, it’s easy to locate in a dark room which is an amazing feature for me. I would highly recommend this product and will purchase more for other rooms in my house.

This LeGrand radiant CFL/LED dimmer switch is ideal for any room in the house, super easy to install, and has a smooth action when switching on and off. Just what I needed.
I am so happy to have this. I have been looking at something similar to this for my bathroom. I don't like to turn on the bright light if I have to get up during the night. This has a glow that I can see and the dimmer let's me use just enough light as to not wake me completely. One of the best investments.

I had my husband install this dimmer in our bedroom upon arrival. Though the directions weren’t the easiest to follow, he was easily able to install this dimmer. The graphite color is unique and looks really good against the cream color of my walls. My bedroom light fixture is a fan/light combo. The dimmer controls both the light and the fan. It’s pretty neat. I’m glad I got this item and will definitely be getting more for the other rooms in my house.

Questions & Answers
I am using the RHCL453P with 6 light bulbs, 8.8 watts each and dimmable on two bathroom light fixtures. Does the 6 bulbs then make the total wattage exceed the minimum of 10 watts? They started to flicker recently at the highest setting.
If you have 6 bulbs at 8.8W's that is a total of 52.8W's and the dimmer is rated up to 450W's of LED. The 10W in the minimum load required and you are above that so that is not an issue.

Is it possible to make the rocker switch control a light, and the dimmer switch control a separate ceiling fan? The light would not be part of the ceiling fan.
The switch you mentioned can only control one load at a time and is rated only for cfl or led bulbs. You would need our switch for the led bulb and a fan control device for the fan.

The RhCL453P is rated for dimmable CFL/LED bulbs which screw into conventional incandescent lamp sockets. The bulbs may not be compatible with the dimmer and this may cause the flickering.

I have this dimmer installed on a circuit with (2) LED BR30 floodlights (65w equivalent). I have been unable to get the bulbs to dim beIow about 50%. I have adjusted the calibration and tried different bulb manufacturers. Any suggestions?
The dimmer should dim lower than 50% so I would suggest trying another dimmer(same model) or try the universal dimmer in the same line(RH703PTUTC).

I bought this dimmer on amazon and was advertised as a led compatible switch and when arrived packaging say only halo inc compatible. Will this work for led cans and under counter led lighting?

I like these but there is one if the 3 I have. When the dimmer is all the way down, my 6 LEDs get really dim which is perfect for tv. I want 2 others that get that dim. My electrician said that one would likely be considered defective. I want 2 more!
The RHCL453PW dimmer has a calibration wheel adjustment that can help with the dimming range of the dimmer(see instruction below). The lowest dimming level will also depend on the quality/type/brand of your LED's.
Dimmer may require adjustment to the low end setting to reliably start and/or
remove flickering in bulbs. To adjust, DISCONNECT POWER FROM CIRCUIT, and
remove the Wallplate. Use a small insulated, flat tipped screwdriver to adjust the
trim pot wheel, which is accessible via the slot (marked “CALIBRATION”) provided
on the strap (Figure 3). Turn the wheel downwards to increase the minimum light
intensity setting and turn the wheel upwards to decrease light intensity. Next,
install the Wallplate, restore the power and test. Repeat above as necessary.

After replacing a switch with a RHCL453PNICCV4 dimmer, the customer claims the lamps are not as bright as when the switch was installed. Is this his imagination or do these go to less than 100% when the slider is all the way up?
I used a bunch of these dimmers in a home to dim recessed can dimmable LED lights from Home Depot (Store SKU# 1002936204), and many of them slightly flicker at most light levels. Those trims are basically a screw in bulb. Is there a fix for this??
