Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The stylish answer you didn't know you needed Sleek, stylish, and one thing I love about this is how they snap into the wall plate so multiples look so uniform. It's really in the details and I've never had a problem with the adorne line, this one included.

Questions & Answers

Why don’t you have a WiFi dimmer over 700 watts? Most high end customers at this price level of device are likely going to have a Chandelier pushing 1,000 watts.

Asked by: MountainMan7777
If the chandeliers are using incandescent or MLV, the MR2000 master wi-fi dimmer would be fine. You could pair it with any adorne remote dimmer for a more appealing look. adorne products 1.800.223.4185 opt 3 Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm EST (excluding holidays) Email Us - tech.support@legrand.us

I'm using (2) ADTP700RMTUW1 in my 3-way set up. Since I have load wires in both locations, I don't know how to make one the master? Also, the dimmer will not actually dim, just on/off. Help?

Asked by: John
The Wi-Fi Ready devices do not use the traveler wires commonly used in 3way application. They need to be connected as follows: Master: Hot - power wire from breaker Load - wire to light White - Neutral connection Remote: Hot - power from breaker White - neutral connection

Do any of your Wi-Fi switches support fans? I'm looking for a Wi-Fi switch I can control fan speed with and I understand you aren't supposed to use a standard dimmer switch with fans.

Asked by: Chuck727
Currently, we do not have a wi-fi ready fan speed controller.

For LED fixtures and existing three way wiring, can I use the Softap Universal master ADTP700RMTUW1 and a wifi remote switch ASTPRRW1 to get wifi lighting (getting the hub too)? Can I also use the ADTP700RMTUW1 and ASTPRRW1 for three way LED dimming?

Asked by: PDX7
The ADTP700RMTUW1 and ASTPRRW1 can be used together to create a 3way application with dimming only at the master dimmer. If you want to dim from both location you would use the ADTPRRW1 remote dimmer with the master dimmer.

I have adorne paddle switches, w/multiple 3 way setups (connected w/physical wiring). If I replace one of the 3 way switches w/a wifi master dimmer, will it still work w/remaining 3 way paddle switch? Does wifi mstr dimmer or paddle connect to the load?

Asked by: Jebediah
You can not mix the WI-Fi Ready devices with standard single pole/3way switches. You would have to replace them all with one Wi-Fi master and Wi-Fi remotes in the other locations.

Can this specific wifi dimmer be installed in a 3 way configuration with a regular Adorne dimmer at the other location?

Asked by: daferm69
The adorne wi-fi ready dimmers can only be paired with other wi-fi ready dimmer/switch to control your light from more than one location(like a 3way).

Does the switch have a satisfying click when pressed to turn the light on or off?

Asked by: Chuck727
When you use the soft tap switch you can feel and hear a click but it is definitely quieter than other standard switches.

I have a light that is currently operated on 4 way switches. If I were to buy 1 of these and two remote dimmers, would that act as a 4 way switch and allow me to dim the light? If not, are there any other options adorne offers for 4 way dimming?

Asked by: Rickey
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our adorne sofTap wifi ready dimmer. If you pair this master dimmer with two remotes, that will act as a 4 way circuit. You will need to put the master at the load (wire to light) and the remotes in the other two locations. That is the only option for dimming from more than one location in the adorne devices. This set up will certainly act as a 4 way. Hope this helps!
