Questions & Answers

I play my MP3 music to AU7000 system via 3mm jack. Works fine but the music, especially the bass is weak in all the speakers. What can I do to improve the sound? Is it possible to plug the 3mm jack to say a receiver or amplifier with preamp? Thank you

Asked by: edosan
The Digital Audio system does not have a provision for connecting to a standalone amplifier. The standard keypads are 20W, which is generally not enough to power a subwoofer.

I moved to a new house with AU7000 wired to 4 channels (8 speakers total). For input, it has RCA red/white plugs to 6mm jack adapter. Changed to 3mm jack and tried to play MP3 device but no sound. Do I need an amp to use an amp for the MP3 first?

Good morning, The ONQ Digital Audio system has been discontinued. The AU7000 system does not use RCA jacks for inputs, nor 6mm jacks. If so equipped, the Digital Audio system has global source inputs possessing a 3.5mm TRS jack. Once you plug into the jack, you need to turn one of the AU7010 keypads on and set to the correct source. Then you should receive audio. If not, you may have hardware failures.

I have moved into a new house with the Legrand digital audio system, including the 7001. I cannot bind/connect to my network. how can I reset and/or connect to a new wifi network?

Asked by: graham
The AU7000 and AU7001 need to be hardwired via ethernet to the router providing internet to your house. Once they are, then you should be able to connect to the system without "binding" it. Your system is not a LyriQ system, so you do not want to press the "I have a LyriQ system" prompt and bind that way. It could result in the system having an incorrect firmware applied to it. You can reach our support team at technical.support-hs@legrand.us for further assistance.

I have a AU7396 with a single zone RCA input. Would this work as an input to the system?

Asked by: Eric
No, LyriQ at one Point had the AU7002 input module, but it has been long discontinued. Consider using a third party streaming device connected to that RCA input. In any case, there is no way to have app control of each of the zones' independent volume controls utilizing the LyriQ system.

I have iOS 15 on my iPhone and now it’s saying no distribution module is found on the app. I have tried binding system by pressing the button but still no luck. So frustrating?!

Asked by: Mark
Try doing an app purge by uninstalling the Digital Audio app, powering the phone off and back on, then reinstalling the app. If you continue to have issues connecting to the system, reach out to technical support at 8669773901 Option 9 to dig into the problem more deeply.

I have the Au7002 Legrand system and it is not getting power to it. No light next to bind illuminating. Everything is up and running with the module next to it. Router is working fine.

Asked by: chas
Unfortunately that indicates your AU7002 no longer functions. We no longer manufacture that system and have no replacement parts for it. Please accept our apologies.

I’ve updated my IPhone to IOS 14.4 and now my Legrand will not bind.  Any ideas?

Asked by: Colleen
Unless you have an AU7002 lyriQ system, you shouldn't need to bind the system. Chances are the app was denied access to the local network by the permissions update in iOS 14. Follow the next instructions: Uninstall the Digital Audio app. Power off the phone. Power the phone back on. Reinstall the Digital Audio app. Allow all requested permissions. You should again have connection to your system. If not, please reach out to technical support at 1(800)223-4162 Option 3 then Option 2
