TV has optical output but home stereo does not. How do I hook it up to a home stereo that uses rca inputs and also has a 3.5 mm aux input? Friend gave it to me so I have no instructions on how to hook it up

Legrand does not manufacture such a product, however you can use an "Optical to analog converter". A Google search of that term should net a few results.
