What do I need to do?
If you have the latest version of the Legrand Lighting Control app, you will see in-app prompts directing you on how to proceed. If you do not have the latest version of the app, you will be forced to update to the latest version of the app.
If you have not received any in-app directions or prompts, please reach out to our technical support team for assistance.
Will I need to set up my system again?
No. While you will have to transition to a Legrand cloud account for remote access and voice control capabilities, you will not have to set up your system again. Your devices, scenes, and unique names will all be retained.
How does this affect my voice control integrations with Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant?
Will I still have the same functionality?
Yes. The transition to Legrand cloud will still provide the same functionality you enjoy today. You will be able to access your lights remotely (away from home) and connect to your Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant.
I purchased devices before today, but never installed or set them up. How am I affected?
If you have not set up these devices yet, just make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Lighting Control app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Then, follow the in-app instructions to set up your Legrand cloud account and commission your products.
Are integrations with third party home automation systems (such as Control4, Elan, RTI, URC or Crestron) affected?
No. You will not need to redownload or setup up drivers.
