Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistency I have now had the Legrand Smart Dimmable Switch in my wall “working” for six months. During that time, it has decided to stop communicating with my wifi 5 times. I’ve had to wait and contact support each time to get it operational again. Also, it takes the Tech multiple tries of various measures... enough to not really know what finally corrected the situation so that I could repeat it myself. No printed online help either. While the switch is communicating, it is fine, but once the communication is lost, be prepared for a lot of frustration and likely finally having to get Tech at Legrand to resolve the next time they are open. Legrand really needs to up their game, physically fix this issue, and at the very least post a troubleshoot guide. (By the way, this is our second switch - the first was returned believing it had a problem, but this one is the same. The switch seems to simply be a poor design with no consumer guidance to correct it.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color Coordinated light switches I purchased 5 of these switches during a recent remodel. After quite a bit of troubleshooting on the first one, the other 4 went in without major issues. A bonus for these switches, unlike other smart switches on the market, these ones are able to be used in circuits with 4 way switches. I can not give honest feedback on the longevity of the product, as they have been installed for 3 days now. Issue I ran into, that may save someone a large headache... No need for a full story here, these switches sense the load it is controlling to turn on or off the indicator light on the face plate. This also sends info to the app to tell it the current state of the switches. If you run into the issue of the indicator light staying on when the lights are turned on, you most likely have LED bulbs, and need to have a heavier load on the switch. After changing out both of my 450mA LED bulbs to 950mA bulbs, the switch functioned as expected. With the lower power bulbs installed, Alexa would be able to turn on the lights, but not turn them off. And the app would only turn the lights on or off when the app thought it was trying to turn the lights on. Attempted to call technical support, but most likely due to Covid, the hours had changed. A suggestion for Legrand, Put a troubleshooting guide together for these switches. It looks like the status LED can show quite a bit of info. I saw the standard white, amber, and thought I saw green at one point during my troubleshooting process in the above scenario. What does each color indicate? Even if it's not provided with the units but available as a PDF download on your website. This is a good product but the technical support hours of operation are not when most people are going to be asking for help.

It's really nice to be able to turn your lights on from your driveway when you get home from work and it's dark outside. Fairly easy to install too, just shut the power off at your breaker box and the instructions walk you right through the process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excited about this switch I didn't want to be tied to Apple which is why I got this switch. It came with instructions that were easy to follow. One thing we struggled with was the wiring, it requires wires to be attached in a certain way (hot to hot) and the wires weren't labeled so we had to guess, and it worked out for us. Once hooked up we followed the instructions to install the app and it told us our firmware wasn't up to date. We couldn't figure out how to update it, but by closing the app and then opening it again it magically worked which leads us to believe it automatically updates. The switch is a little loud which was surprising, and this particular switch can be a 3 way light. We are very excited about this light and pleased with how well it works.

I will get me a few more switches, I want to be able to control more lights when I'm away for a long period of time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Happy then Disappointed Earlier this spring I bought the previous model of switch (WWRL10LA). I installed it in a 4-way circuit and it worked perfectly. I could turn the light off or on with any combination of manual switches, smart switch, or google assistant voice control and the indicator light would correctly show the current state of the light. So... I bought 2 more, but the model had been upgraded (?) to the WWRL10LACCV2. After installing both of them a few weeks ago, neither one of them worked properly. They would not work in a 3-way circuit. After confirming that the wire connected to the line (black) was indeed the live feed for the circuit, the switch connected to the first traveler wire (red) but when switched the voltage would be gone from the red wire but would not toggle to the second traveler (yellow). The results were the same with manual, app or voice switching. Very disappointing after the success of the first unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works sometime I purchased 4 of these with 6 remote dimmers and all of them have intermittent issues turning on and with dimming control. The dimmers do not respond to commands from the phone app at random times. If I manually turn them on it seems to fix that issue temporarily. Another issue is they will turn themselves down to 1% on occasion and you need to reset the power in order for them to function normal again. I have one room with 3 remote locations when I install the 3rd remote dimmer on the circuit none of the paddles work and the lights dim to 1% on their own.

I had a bit of difficulty getting them to sync up with the app initially but after some troubleshooting, got it figured out. The compatibility with my Alexa devices was a must and they work great.

The switch looks aesthetically pleasing with a modern look. It has a nice tactile response in that it clicks (kind of like a key on a board) when you turn it on and off. It works well with voice commands, and you can set it on a daily/weekly schedule if desired. Overall, this is a nice option if want WIFI technology built right into the switch. I think as the application is updated it will be an easier setup for everyone.

My switch has been working fine, but suddenly both the Smart Lights App and Alexa think that the switch is on when it is off and off when it is on. Is there a way to toggle this back without resetting it?

Hello Legrand, I installed one of these switches Saturday and I need to confirm a few things: 1) Does the white LED just indicate there's power to the switch? 2) Does depressing the top and bottom portion of the toggle/switch turn it on?

why does the amber light not come on at all

If the switch is not blinking, press the bottom of the switch while it is in the off position for 10 seconds to reset the device. The Legrand website states that the radiant smart switch works with Nest Products. How do I set this up? Neither the Nest app or the Smart Lights app have an option to connect the switch with Nest.

How do you change the phase from forward to reverse on the Radiant smart dimmer without the smart phone app? The app keeps crashing when I select settings for the device.

If my router resets all of these switches disconnect and will not reconnect. I have to reset them all and reinstall which takes forever. Is there a way to prevent this from occurring? This is the 3rd time this has happened.
