Absolutely Awesome Dimmer
I purchased this dimmer as a replacement for some some other smart wi-fi dimmers I have in my home. After having installed and used the Legrand dimmers for a couple of months, I can now say that I intend to replace all of my existing wi-fi dimmers (approximately 50) with Radiant - Smart Tru-Universal Dimmers. Without taking time to discuss my complaints with the other dimmers I will say that the Legrand dimmers address every one of my concerns with the other product. In particular, here is what I like about the Legrand dimmers:
- Works seamlessly with Homekit. The setup was totally uneventful (what a difference!).
- Connects directly to your home wi-fi without the need for a bridge.
- Powered directly off of wall current and doesn't require batteries.
- Works in 3-way and 4-way applications. When used in conjunction with the Legrand Remote Dimmers it can control multi-way switch installations. And the remote dimmers do not require batteries or the use some weird bluetooth signal.
- All of the wiring connections are internal to the switch housing and not exposed on the outside of the housing - this practically eliminates the possibility of accidentally shorting one of the connections on the dimmer against the ground wire in the junction box.
- Does not require the use of a traveler wire between the the main dimmer and the remote dimmers in multi-way installations (this means that you don't have to be a rocket scientist to wire multi-way switches).
- The dimmers seem extremely stable and have never lost their connection to my home wi-fi.
After having struggled for a couple of years with my existing wi-fi dimmers, I am totally impressed with the Legrand product. I hope they continue to grow and expand their product offerings in this area!

Wrong description on website, not tru-universal
I needed a tru-universal dimmer for a new light fixture I bought. Lighting store recommended Legrand and indicated I had to make sure it was ELV compatible, as all tru-universal dimmers are. Description on Legrand website mentioned this was tru-universal, compatible with ELV, MLV, halogen, LED, incandescent. Installed the dimmer, and got horrible buzzing sounds. Looked at the package and saw that this is not the tru-universal dimmer but an incandescent/halogen only. Don't waste your time and money. You need part RH703PTU. Anything without "TU" is not tru-universal. Legrand's website is wrong for the white switch (RH703PW) and the tri-color switch (RH703PTC)

Great functionality and easy to install!
This product was super easy to install and integrate with Alexa, the instructions in setting the Smart Switch with our home network were very easy to follow and everything was up and running in a manner of minutes. Being able to remotely control the lights is very convenient, you can also manually click it on or use the app which is great. It is also still able to be used as a normal switch. The Wi-Fi smart switch looks almost identical to the other switches in our home with the addition of a nice small cool white led to show the switch is off and helps find it in the dark. This was a great addition on our journey to a smart home.

Excellent product choice
I chose to use the legrand style switches and plugs in my remodeling project. I am so glad I did because everyone really likes how they look and they add such elegance and style to the kitchen, dining room, & bathroom.

Durable reliable
I got one of these switches to try out and I liked the way it worked so much that I switched all of my dimmer switches in my house to this same brand and style. The ones I had before hummed when dimmed down and these have not done that at all to me.

I have 3 occupancy sensors that do seem to shut off the lights when unoccupied. I see the red and green light flickering meaning we clearly have power.
The red and green are activity LEDs for the sensors, if the LEDs continue to flash when you stand still, then the sensor is likely false tripping. I suggest to start with placement, assure all sensors are 5-6' away from air supplies this is common to false trip the sensors causing lights to either stay ON or OFF.

How many LED watts is this switch rated for? I have 20 LED high bay fixtures that are 0/10v Dimmable, each is 171 watts. How do I determine how many switches I need?
Hello Erik,
There are two ratings which cannot be exceeded when considering a 0-10V dimmer such as the RH4FBL3PTC.
The first rating is the high voltage, high current dimmer rating associated with dimmer black wire and dimmer red wires. In the case of the RH4FBL3PTC, this rating is 10A at 120VAC or 5A at 277VAC. In general, multiply each ballast's power rating by the number of ballasts called for by the application, and this product cannot exceed the dimmer's high voltage, high current rating.
The second dimmer rating is the low voltage, low current rating associated with the dimmer violet and dimmer grey wires. In the case of the RH4FBL3PTC, this rating is 100mA of sinking current. The 0-10V ballast should provide this information. If the ballast datasheet does not show this information then the ballast's low voltage current sink value can be measured by connecting an ammeter from ballast violet to ballast grey wires when the ballast is powered. Once the low voltage sink current is measured, multiply this value by the number of ballasts in question. The resulting product cannot be greater than 100mA.
Best Regards,
Technical Support

Not an electrician. I believe I have two of these switches in my kitchen connected to 7 ceiling lights and I'm getting some flicker through out the dimming range. Any thoughts?
I would verify the model number of the dimmers by removing the wallplate. If it is the RH4FBL3P, it has a calibration wheel on the left side to adjust for flickering(see attached image). Also, you mention two dimmers controlling 7 ceiling lights so make sure that you are NOT using two dimmers in a 3way. It can only be one dimmer and a 3way switch.

Can the WWRL50WHCCV2 be put in place of one 3 way and the other 3 way switch be left in place? Just having the dimming in place at the dimmer and on/off control at the switch.
The WWRL50WHCCV2 dimmer needs to be paired with the HMRW(remote dimmer), when used in a 3way application.

Is this collection of smart dimmers (WWRL50WHCCV2) and smart switches (WWRL10WHCCV2) compatible to work with the LC7001 Whole House Lighting Controller ... and in turn work with home automation systems such as Control4? Thanks in Advance.
These switches do not work with the RFLC platform that the LC7001 runs on.
If you want switches in the Radiant Style that work with RFLC, look to the LC series switches.
