Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Flexible Mounting For Structured Enclosures I purchased these to go into 3 different structured media cabinets that I mounted behind flat screen tvs. I have network wiring and wireless access points along with the traditional cable boxes and media players all nicely hidden behind the tvs. For the price you can't beat these mounts!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I tried... I received the Smart Try Universal Dimmer, WiFi, white from Try It Sampling. Myself and my spouse, who is a certified electrician, attempted to install the device in our bedroom, but without success. There were two pieces missing from the kit that are required to have the dimmer fully functional. There is no way I could 've even gotten that far alone, so this was an unsuccessful sample and I believe it would be for many people who aren't "certified" electricians. Thanks for the oppritunity, though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced smart dimmer (smart not included) I've had this set up for a couple years and just never had a good experience, which recently got worse. These never displayed the correct status on Google home. I always assumed that was an integration issue that would eventually be resolved, but it never once worked. I learned to live with that though and could still turn lights on and off (and dim) from Google home, it just never remembered the status. For the record, it didn't display the right status in Smart Lights either. I contacted support a while back on this and got replacements, but it was more of the same issue. I waited and tested longer and tried contacting again, but never heard back. Now it's back to only functioning as a dumb switch (I also have the remote switches with these, and those are very flakey even as dumb switches, probably only work half the time). I still like the "dumb" Legrand receptacles and plan on continuing to use those where I can, but unfortunately I'll be looking elsewhere for smart receptacles in the future (and to replace these).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad Schedule Function Installed a year ago in my new house. I can control the lights from the app with no problem but getting the schedule to work is a pain. They worked fine for a while then stopped working. Had to go through and do a reset on every device then add back to the app. Having trouble with the schedule though

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked good This dimmer was installed for some outdoor porch lights, and it worked well with the led wafer lights I chose. No flickering. The only thing was that it didn’t dim all the way down right out of the box. There’s an adjustment dial I could’ve played with but 20-30% was what I wanted anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the non-tech-savvy! This easy-to-install dimmer switch was super-easy to attach to my wall socket, and now I want one for every single switch in the house for every single thing. It was our first ‘smart-enabled electronic, and now I see why ‘smart’ devices are so awesome! The dimmer switch is connected to an app and can even work through my Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The app itself is easy to use, as well. I am sooooo NOT tech-savvy, and this is soooo perfect for me. It’s been a lot of fun trying different light groupings on different dimmer settings, and one of my friend’s even told me I made the house look very ’alluring.’ I highly recommend this smart dimmer switch to anyone old or who, like me, just doesn’t quite excel at using all the newest ‘smart’ stuff on the market!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an amazing product! We are a family full of smart devices in our house so when I saw this I jumped on it!! This smart switch with dimmer is absolutely amazing!! I love it’s sleek design and the fact that you can control it from your phone! I have it set up in my daughters room so I can leave the light dim while she’s trying to fall asleep and then turn it all the way off when she’s finally asleep. Genius product if you have a kid like mine! Installation is so easy to set up also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lighting We've been switching a lot of our lights in our home over to dimmers because they're truly so nice to have! This universal dimmer is very high quality and looks very nice on our walls. The instructions were easy enough to follow and we had it installed pretty quick and easily. The wifi abilities are also super neat and a really great touch to have!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I absolutely love this. My lights are so bright in my house. Now, I have the option of dimming them which I absolutely love! It was very easy to install. They had well detailed directions. I also like how it has WiFi. I am able to turn them off and on with my phone or table. I also like how I can see a time for them to come on. I highly recommend this. This is so awesome! The price on this is very reasonable. The quality is made very well. It’s not cheaply made. This makes life that much easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is fun! I am really glad I tried Legrand's Smart Tru-Universal Dimmer. It responds to Google voice assistant to turn the light on or off so if my hands are full or messy I don't have to worry about trying to handle the light switch. It's also so nice to be able to turn the light off with my voice and not have to get up to go to the light switch. I feel so spoiled doing that! I love the automated schedule so the light is on when I have late nights and don't get home until after dark but I don't have to leave the light on all day. This smart dimmer switch works great and is a lot of fun to use. It does take a little know-how to install but if you do know what you are doing it is easy and straightforward to install. I will be purchasing more smart devices from Legrand to expand the convenient control of more areas of my home.

The app works so nicely. Installation was simple and instructions were very clear. We don’t need an electrician to install this. No hub needed too. I replaced this with a single pole switch. Works so well with google. Just with my voice command I can operate the lights which is amazing. This smart switch definitely added more luxury to my life. Sitting on my couch I can give commands ! Rated 3 out of 5 by from My Smart Dimmer is going off automatically I purchased a WWRL50WHCCV2 (smart dimmer) with a couple of HMRTC (remote dimmers) for a multi-location set up. The set up works, but I do not understand why the lights would go off automatically. Each time I turn the dimmers on (either one of the three), the lights would off afterwards. I have tried turning the lights on with the app, but again they would go off afterwards. Is there a particular reason why this is happening? Other than this issue, all my other Legrand products have been working fine. Thank you!

I have 3 occupancy sensors that do seem to shut off the lights when unoccupied. I see the red and green light flickering meaning we clearly have power.

Asked by: Serge St Pierre
The red and green are activity LEDs for the sensors, if the LEDs continue to flash when you stand still, then the sensor is likely false tripping. I suggest to start with placement, assure all sensors are 5-6' away from air supplies this is common to false trip the sensors causing lights to either stay ON or OFF. How many LED watts is this switch rated for? I have 20 LED high bay fixtures that are 0/10v Dimmable, each is 171 watts. How do I determine how many switches I need?

Asked by: Erik
Hello Erik, There are two ratings which cannot be exceeded when considering a 0-10V dimmer such as the RH4FBL3PTC. The first rating is the high voltage, high current dimmer rating associated with dimmer black wire and dimmer red wires. In the case of the RH4FBL3PTC, this rating is 10A at 120VAC or 5A at 277VAC. In general, multiply each ballast's power rating by the number of ballasts called for by the application, and this product cannot exceed the dimmer's high voltage, high current rating. The second dimmer rating is the low voltage, low current rating associated with the dimmer violet and dimmer grey wires. In the case of the RH4FBL3PTC, this rating is 100mA of sinking current. The 0-10V ballast should provide this information. If the ballast datasheet does not show this information then the ballast's low voltage current sink value can be measured by connecting an ammeter from ballast violet to ballast grey wires when the ballast is powered. Once the low voltage sink current is measured, multiply this value by the number of ballasts in question. The resulting product cannot be greater than 100mA. Best Regards, Technical Support

Not an electrician. I believe I have two of these switches in my kitchen connected to 7 ceiling lights and I'm getting some flicker through out the dimming range. Any thoughts?

Asked by: bumphoto
I would verify the model number of the dimmers by removing the wallplate. If it is the RH4FBL3P, it has a calibration wheel on the left side to adjust for flickering(see attached image). Also, you mention two dimmers controlling 7 ceiling lights so make sure that you are NOT using two dimmers in a 3way. It can only be one dimmer and a 3way switch.
