Are these 3-way - can two smart dimmers be used to control the same lights? For example - can one be placed on each end of a long hallway to control the same hallway lights?
The WWRL50WHCCV2 can be used in a 3way but has to be paired with a HMRTC or HMRW(remote dimmer) in the other location of your 3way.

Can the smart dimmer be paired with two smart outlets that work with one dimmer?
Hello,
This smart line doesn't have the feature to pair with other devices. However, you can group devices together within the app so all (or some) devices can be turned on/off from the app.

Just want to operate switch manually and am having no success I just need to turn it on and off. It was installed professionally
The dimmer should operate manually if wired directly to the light load and the Air Gap switch on the right side of the dimmer needs to be in the UP position for the dimmer to have power. If still having issues, contact Technical Support for troubleshooting assistance:

Nothing but problems. Legrand already sent me a replacement, but it has the same issue. It becomes non-responsive in the app, and then eventually I can't even add the switch back again after removing it. Now it's stuck in a firmware update.

I'm trying to install this dimmer as a replacement for as existing Lutron 3 way dimmer. The other existing switch is a simple (non-dimmer) paddle switch. I cannot get the new legrand dimmer to work. Why?
When using the WWRL50WHCCV2 Smart dimmer in a 3way, you need to also replace the 3way switch with a remote dimmer(HMRW or HMRTC) in the other location.

Will these dimmer WWrl50whccv2 work with apple Home?
These switches are not HomeKit compatible.
If you want HomeKit switches, you want the HKRL50WH.
If you are setting up a 3-way circuit using these switches, you would use the HKRL50WH and up to 4 HKRL60s for the second,third,fourth, and fifth switches in that circuit.

Is there a list of compatible bulbs? I have installed some A19 dimmable LED bulbs that don't seem to be working (yes, they are dimmable!). I know the switch works because I tested with dimmable incandescent and those worked fine.
The dimmer works with virtually any dimmable lamp and load on typical residential and light commercial wiring (with the exception of 0-10V LED drivers). You may need to adjust the dimmer trim levels found under the Device Settings in the app.

I have an existing dual gang box with two Legrand conventional wall switches. Will this switch fit as a replacement in the space used by one the existing switches while keeping the other conventional switch?

Yes a ground connection will be needed for this device to work. The dimmer will also require a neutral wire.

Can the dimmer be programmed to come on automatically at dusk (like an astro timeclock), or do I manually have to set a time and change it throughout the year?
You can set your ON/OFF timed events through the app and it will follow the dusk to dawn changes with your time zone.

My contractor installed this, caulked the switch plate, and threw away the packaging. So I cannot get to the QR code very easily to set up wifi. What is a workaround for this? How can I connect to wifi without the QR code on the switch?

If I use this in a 4 way, do I need to add remote dimmers to the other switch locations or can I just use this one dimmer and regular switches in the circuit?
The WWRL50 master dimmer has to be used with remote dimmers(HMRTC or HMRW) in the other locations.

How do I set this up for google home? I used the Legrand Smart Lights WiFi app to set up the dimmer but its not in the choices for google..
Thanks the issue is I did just that and I now get a "something went wrong" prompt every time I try to turn it on from google home. It worked one time right after setup, and then didn't and hasn't.

I have an older home with 2 wire electrical. Will these dimmers work with that wiring?
The SmartLights dimmer will require a separate Neutral wire to function properly so it will not work if you only have 2 wires in your electrical box.

Can you change the phase of the wwrl50 from forward to reverse without using the smart phone app? The app continuously closes when I try access the device settings.
The only way to change the dimmer phase is through the app. I would suggest contacting Tech Support to help trouble shoot your APP issue.

If I intended to only dim from one location can this switch be used with conventional Legrand three-way switches. This is how my existing Legrand sliding dimmer switches are wired.
The Smart Lights dimmer(WWRL50WH) can only be paired with the HMRW(remote dimmer) for a 3way application.

The Phillip Hue bulbs are not compatible with Smart dimmers.

To use the Smart dimmer in a three way you need to wire it up with a Radiant HMR multi location dimming remote.

Will this dimmer work with a ceiling fan? I currently have a basic dimmer switch to turn on and control the speed of the fan there is no light with the fan. So just need on/ off and speed control.
This product is only intended to control Lighting loads. It is not designed or rated to control the speed of a fan. You can certainly to control the Light with this product but it is not intended to control a motor load like a fan.

Does the WiFi switch work with Samsung SmartThings? Being able to use an app or home assistant is one thing... I want smart rules, such as: if after sunset, turn on front door light when doorbell rings. I’m currently doing this with Wemo.
