Hello Charlie, Thank you for your inquiry. Our UL listing report allows for up to 3 #8-gauge conductors when utilizing THHN/THWN wire. Therefore, is acceptable to utilize (2) #8 and (1) # 10 conductor in the 700 series profile.

Are there 45 degree fittings available?

Is Wiremold 500 series raceway an adequate equipment ground conductor?

Hello, Yes, Legrand Wiremold 500 and 700 Series Surface Raceway and Fittings can be used to provide a reliable ground path when installed in compliance with our Installation Instructions. The system only requires one direct connection to the equipment ground where the premise wiring enters the raceway system to comply with Article 386.60 on the NEC. Thank you

Is there an end cap for the 700 series raceway?

Hello, The 700 series is intended to end at a wall or into a device box. The smallest fitting that can be used closest to an end cap is the V57242 small utility box. The V57242 measures 4 1/8" long x 2" wide x 1 3/8" deep. Can this raceway be surface mounted to the floor?

Hello Jimbob47, The installation of our raceway should be in accordance with our installation instructions to comply with our UL listing. Our listing and instructions do not specifically indicate where the raceway can or cannot be installed. The local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) should be consulted for approval of any installation not specifically covered in our installation instructions. Thank you!

Can this raceway be attached with screws? Is it two pieces?

Hello Greg, Two options exist for mounting the V500, V700 or 700WH raceways to the surface. The V5703 (ivory) or 5703WH (white) is a support clip that fastens to the wall first. After the proper number of support clips have been fastened to the surface, the appropriate raceway can then be snapped into the support clips. The recommended spacing for the support clips is every 30” intervals. The other option is the V504 mounting strap which can be used with V500 raceway, V704 for V700 raceway, or 704WH for 700WH raceway. This strap goes over the front of the raceway and fastens to the surface using both mounting holes in the strap, or can be broken off at the score to convert the strap to a one-hole strap. Similar to the supporting clip, the mounting straps should be spaced at every 30” intervals along the surface.

I bought the bwh1 wiremold. For my application, I will be making a number of cuts and want to purchase just the bushings. Can I buy packs of them--not the full accessory pack, which I do not need?

Hello, I would like to run a 3' long section of Wiremold 500/700 Series Small Raceway up a wall and then route the electrical cable 90 degrees into the wall to a receptible on the other side of the wall. Do you have a cover for this type of transition?

Hello Daniel, If I understand the application correctly I believe the V5784 elbow conduit connector would help you achieve this transition and device termination on the other side of the wall using one of our device boxes from the 500/700 series. 1/2" conduit could be connected to the 1/2" knockout on the base plate of the device box and the other end connected to the V5784 fitting.
