Now that it’s done I love it, but a pain to instal
I love that I was able to install myself and achieve the look I wanted. But this was a pain to install. They make it look easier than it is in the instructions and video. It took about 50 tries to get the wire fed from one hole to the other. Not an easy task when there is insulation in the wall. And one thing that wasn’t mentioned in the instructions, but I was reminded in installation, is that your outlets likely have horizontal wires that attach one to the other. I wasn’t real comfortable feeding the wires across that. I purchased two sets of these, but I’ll be taking my second set back as that room has paneling and these don’t install into paneling. It would be easy to include an adapter for paneling. It’s something you should think about doing.

Perfect for wall mounting a TV.
Finally decided to mount my TV to the wall. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that I have plaster walls. This made installation a huge hassle. Because of this, I found the hole-saw that came with it useless for this, as it wasn't good enough to get through that much material - even when coupled with a hammer drill. I ended up using two additional hole-saws for my application, but that is not the fault of this kit. If I had drywall this would have been much more simple and could probably have used the included hand hole-saw.
After getting past those issues, this kit was perfect for running in-wall power and hiding a few HDMI cables. I also painted the rings to match the color of the wall.

Overall great concept, initially a pain to install
I initially bought this product due to the “ease” of installation boasted on the packaging. Everything was going great until it came time to fish the power cord through the holes I cut. (At this point I was committed, so no going back.) The first difficult task I encountered was getting the supplied fish tape fed through the hole to line up and come out the other end. An exterior wall with insulation poses quite the obstacle. After several attempts I successfully retrieved the fish tape (I had to fit what I could of my hand through the hole to blindly feel for the fish tape) and inserted the power cord onto the hook of the fish tape. As I pulled the power cord through the hook became straightened and released the power cord. Now I had to retrieve a half fed power cord through one end and the damaged fish tape through the other. Attempt #2: I successfully fed the fish tape through, same issue as before, connected the power cord to the the hook, but this time I used twist ties to assist keeping the power cord and hook together. As I retrieved the fish tape I could feel the insulation pulling, tearing, and bunching up inside my wall. Just as the fish tape neared the exit hole the hook broke. Lucky for me the cord was there and I pulled the line through. Now I needed to pull my HDMI cords through, but thanks to the bunched up insulation in my wall I cannot get the fish tape fed from one hole to the other. Frustrated and 1.5 hours in on a .5 hour project I gave up. Time to re-engineer this concept and find a way to be able to watch TV with a successful wall mount sans exposed cables. Concept = 5 stars. Ease of installation = 1 star!

I have installed dozens of these, love them, but now I have dozens of T handles and pushrods, what type of plastic are they made of, and can they be recycled? Thanks.
The T-handle, the fish stick connectors, and hook are all made from ABS, and the sticks themselves are made from PVC. Both are recyclable but it may depend on regional recycling on what is accepted. ABS is considered a #7 plastic - and PVC is considered a #3.
Since you install many of these there is a version available on Amazon that does not come with the fish sticks or T-handle, part number is ZKT101.

I want to add an additional HDMI cord through, is this possible without uninstalling?
Hello,
To install additional cables it would require the unit be disassembled to provide sufficient room to pass the new cable in from the top and our through the bottom. With the grommets still attached to the wall it would be very difficult to get the new cable in and pass through to the bottom.

Hello i wanted to know if it is possible to unlock the wall grommet locks so i can turn the bottom wall grommet right side up and tighten it back down thanks.
Yes. Pry off the snap-on trim ring, loosen the screws, pull out and rotate the assembly, tighten the screws, and snap the ring back on.

Will this work with a Samsung right angle power cord?
Good question! Yes, it will. BUT...Samsung is now using a “sideways” right angle plug on some TV’s, which is not compatible. You can identify it by the cord entering the side of the plug. The workaround is buying a compatible right angle cord on Amazon.

In trying to install on a paneled wall. Do you make adapters for paneling? I can see how different clips would make this possible.
The CMK70 Power Kit is designed to fit into walls constructed of a minimum of 2" x 3" studs and 1/2" inch drywall. We do not offer adapters for other wall types.

I recently moved into a home with this installed, however we would like to move locations. Are there any instructions on how to re-locate? Appreciate any help, and if it is easy might do these in all the rooms of my home.
If you are able to remove all the components of the CMK70 from the existing location undamaged, then you can re-install them in another location following the installation instructions that come with a new unit (link below). However, we do not have actual instructions on how to un-install an existing CMK70. If you need assistance in doing that, please contact Wiremold Technical Support at 1-800-621-0049, option 3. We can you help you with questions about the removal process.

I have this grommet kit but unable to lock the grommet in my walls. I have double dry wall in my high rise condo and it is unable to stay in place. Do you have any suggestions?
It's possible that wall is simply too thick and the tab that holds the grommet in place gets past the point where is held captive. When that happens, the tab will just spin around and will not lock in place. That usually happens if your wall is thicker than about 7/8".
