Rated 4 out of 5 by from Know what you want to plug in. Same review as I provided for the GFCI outlet- know what you plan to plug in! The offset configuration will not always accommodate the "weird" plugs, so you may be able to use only one port at a time. Nonetheless, really beautiful look!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MODERN LOOK!! I was given this product to install and review from the TryIt Sampling Community. Very easy to open and install. Looks very modern and stands out from other outlets in a good way. It also has some great features: childproof, shut off power if it malfunctions to prevent house damage, does self checks every three seconds, and has protection against electric shock. However, the two different outlets should be spaced a bit farther apart as some cords have bulky cord ends. In all, I would recommend this product but that small tweak should be made to make it perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great and the offset design is great Looks great with the Adorne face plate. The fact that they are offset makes all the difference. Kind of makes me wonder why normal receptacles are not made this way.

Questions & Answers

Do you need a motion sensor dimmer switch ADSM703HW2 for the motion sensor switch ASOS32W4 to function? Which of these models is recommended for use with LED down lights such as the Lithonia WF4 series?

Asked by: David
The ADSM703HW2 is a dimmer/sensor in one and the ASOS32W4 is just a motion sensor. The ADSM703HW2 is rated for Incandescent, 15-700 Watts, LED and CFL dimmable bulbs, 15 - 450 Watts and the ASOS32W4 is rated for ALL light load types.

So, lets say the electric box is orientated horizontal, therefore the plate would be too. Can the plugged be snapped in rotated 90 degrees so the outlets are oriented in a normal fashion (ground pin at top or bottom)?

Asked by: DeltaAlpha
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately no, if the box and grounding plate are rotated, then the outlet would need to be rotated to match that orientation prior to being snapped into the grounding plate.

How do I wire a 20A outlet with a USB outlet when there are 4 wires coming into the old outlet? This is not a switched outlet.

Asked by: Play8teen
The attached image shows connecting the 4 wiresto a non-switched receptacle. You would just need to add your USB wires to one HOT and one NEUTRAL set of terminals.

I have a four gange box. It appears I need to have a special 4 gange frame to install the switches and dimmers. Where do you sell as I cannot seem to order a 4 gange frame only.

Asked by: Alex
They don't make a 4 gang plate or cover because of the larger size of their outlets and switches. I had the same issue. 3 gang is the largest.

Can this be used with https://www.legrand.us/adorne/products/under-cabinet-lighting-power/apcb4w1.aspx?config=APCB4TM1 ? I just want to have a single box with that outlet in it.

Asked by: Praveen
Works perfectly with this box. Make sure the circuit is GFCI protected, otherwise you can order a GFCI outlet to protect the entire strip

How do I wire up this outlet if the previous one was connected with a wall switch - ie the outlet was able to be turned on and off by a separate wall switch - useful for lamps, etc. On the existing outlet there is a red wire connected - where does it go?

Asked by: Josh
You may need to remove the split circuit tab on the back of the receptacle so that one oulet can be switched and the other is perminitely on. The brass tab on the back of the receptacle can be removed for split circuit receptacles. For additional support You can contact tech support at 1800 223 4185 opt 1
