Not for beginners
YOU NEED EXPERIENCE TO INSTALL THIS. I thought this was a simple plug in nightlight but it is not. You need to remove the entire electrical plate and install inside the wall. You definitely need to know what you are doing. I don’t recommend this for people who have no idea what they are doing esp when it comes to electrical outlets!!!

Nice light
This is a nice and convenient little light. We put it in the basement by the laundry machines. It is dimmable so you can put it brighter if you want and you can see enough you don’t have to turn the regular lights on. Works great

Adjustable settings
This nightlight was very easy to set up is very durable and very bright. I actually set it up in my bathroom and it glows underneath the bathroom door which I really appreciate because our bathroom is extremely dark. Depending on where you need a nightlight and what you need it for it’s nice to have one that’s like this. It has five adjustable light settings and hidden sensor controls that automatically turn on when it is dark and it features ad durable, high impact resistant, thermal plastic construction. This is only 17.79 and I would say it. It’s well worth it.

I didn’t realize this was going to be an install but it’s super simple. It comes with everything you need. Having kids who light to have a light to go potty and just for safety is so common and this is such a great option!

Better than those plug in night lights.
Easy to install. Very safe with kids. I have regular night light plug ins but my daughter always keeps on pulling it out which worries me a lot. I'm glad I have this put in my daughter's room and know that she'll be safe and I'm at peace not worrying she'll get hurt.

Works Great - I Love It!
This little night light is awesome! The design/concept of it is really cool. It's very energy efficient and has great lighting. It's also very durable and long lasting once you get it installed. It came with very thorough instructions and was pretty quick and easy to install. If you have a regular outlet you can spare then this is perfect. You simply unplug/Uninstall the regular outlet and hook this up in its place. You no longer have a regular outlet but it becomes a really nice and useful nightlight. I installed mine right by one of my doors where there is minimal lighting. This works perfect because now when coming home in the dark my entry way is lit up well. You can adjust the brightness with 3 different settings. You can also put on a little cover that will also adjust the brightness and direction of light. I love that it's flat! I previously had a regular nightlight in this outlet but when the doorbell rang my dogs would knock it out. This one is not bothered by their jumping around or bumping it. So many great options for placement- I give this a 10/10 and recommend trying it!

Need to permanently give up use of an outlet to use
When I selected this product, I did not realize that you need to replace your entire outlet to install it. Unfortunately, I did not have an outlet that I could give up in a space where a nightlight could be useful. I question why anyone would want to permanently give up an outlet for a nightlight. Why not buy a nightlight that plugs in that you can move to use the outlet when needed? Three stars because I have no idea if this thing works or not so I can’t review the actual product. As a concept however, I think it’s kind of dumb.

The idea of this night light is great. The brightness is adjustable and it comes with a cool vent like feature. Unfortunately for me it’s not very practical because I live in a dorm and can’t screw it into the electrical. However I gave it to my dad and he uses it in the guest bathroom and absolutely loves it.

Like the functionality of different light levels or even turning it off. On the other hand, the height of this light is more than typical and face plate does not seat flush with the wall, how could Legrand not know this? So in a nutshell, I will not be repeat customer with this product.

Awesome light
I bought this from Lowes and my electrician installed it for me. I have one in my powder room/guest bedroom, and another one in the kitchen in a central location. They are perfect for my needs. They have added great light in areas we need them, without being too bright. And they look so sharp, and match the rest of my switches I had changed out to Radiant style. For the money, these are indeed quality effective products. I cannot attest to the durability as they are still new (4 stars), but my electrician told me they were as easy as any other to install.

I have installed the the radiant full night light. W optional louver. The power works, I'm able to adjust through 3 light settings. Does not turn on its own when it's dark and when in, only stays in a few seconds and turn off on its own in the dark.
I would confirm that you have the nightlight in "louver mode":
AMBIENT LIGHT THRESHOLD SETTING: To adjust light sensitivity of the
nightlight, press and hold nightlight face for 5 seconds. To indicate louver mode,
LED will blink twice. To indicate clear lens mode, LED will blink three times.

My 3 Full Nightlight NTLFULL are about 6 years old and barely giving off any light anymore. Is there a replacement bulb available or do I need to replace the entire unit? We love them so much!!!
I purchased several Legrand NTLFULL and combination nightlights for a renovation. As they in the boxes not yet installed I had the instructions to consult. Nowhere is mentioned a bulb replacement however the LED is rated for 20yrs life.
By depressing the face of the lens one may cycle through five light levels, "OFF - HI." Is it possible the lens has been inadvertently pressed so that the LED is at the LOW or ULTRA-LO setting? Try cycling through the levels.

Just built a new home. Our electrician installed 6 Legrand NTLFULLW in the hallways. Cleaners threw out the rectangle light filters that shine the light down. Can I buy these separately?
Currently the louvers are not sold separate but if you contact the Radiant Technical Support group, they can assist you in obtaining them.

I am thinking of specifying the Legrand, Pass & Seymour Radiant Night-light, catalog number NTLFULLTCCC6 but I need to get the amount of watts each one uses, or the amount of Amps? this is required for the State of Washington Energy Code.

We installed these using old work boxes and the plate doesn't lay flush with the wall. Do these require different work boxes? Or is there an easy fix to getting these to install flush with the wall using our existing old work boxes?

I have the NTLFULL nightlight. I can set it to the illumination of my choice. It never turns off. If I turn a light on in the room it stays on. Nothing seems to disable it.
I talked with Legrand support and was advised to shine a bright light into the nightlight to train the sensor for the difference between normal illumination and darkness. This did not help. One explanation I read said if I was using a LED light fixture in the room, the color temperature of the LED light might not trigger the light sensor and thus turn off the nightlight. The real solution was to remove the louvered cover and install the claar bezel on the nightlight. It turns on and off now as expected, The louvers must obscure enough ambient light to confuse the sensor and it does not trigger itself off as a result. If your room has very bright illumination, the sensor might work with the louvered grill. otherwise, replace with the clear transparent one and you will probably resolve your problem.

The louver is not really optional as if you do not use it there is a gap around the nightlight. They have them on display at home centers without the louvers. How do I order the part in order to not use the 'optional' louver?
The clean lens cover is included with the NTLFULLWCC6, as well as the optional louver.

If power is removed from this and then restored, does it remember the light level that it was set for? If not, what light level does it reset to? By light level, I mean the level that is set by pressing the face of the device.
The NTLFULL will "remember" and return to the light level setting it was at prior to a power outage.

The NTLFULL is a Nightlight and designed to turn on automatically when it get dark. If you want a Step Light controllable by a switch, I would suggest using TMHWLENSCC.

I am using the night light to take the place of an old ceiling fan switch (red wire). Since the circuit no longer has a fan, how do I close the circuit so the light will operate correctly.
Follow-up... Lots of black wires in the box...this was not a 3-way switch. This is a 3-gang box L-R configuration was mantle light (2 black wires 1 ground), ceiling fan light (1 red, 1 black, 1 ground), ceiling fan motor (2 black, 1 ground). I replaced the ceiling fan with a remote model that only needs one switch (Ceiling fan motor switch). now I have a dead switch in the middle that I want to be the nightlight. I have hooked the night light up using the wires from the removed switch, flip the breaker and nothing happens, all other switches in the box are still working properly.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to keep the nightlight on indefinitely. I would suggest using one that does not have the built in light sensor....TMHWLENSCC:

will it handle a 20amp circuit? 120/125 volts are no problem. But is it compatible for 20amp?
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our NTLFULL night light receptacle. This device has 20 amp pass through so it can be used on a 20 amp circuit so long as it is not the only device on that circuit. If there are other outlets upstream or downstream, you are good to use this device. Hope this helps!
