Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for a deceant price I bought 2 of these switches over the last several months for my outside lights and am not disappointed. They have never failed me and the options I have to control them with the smart lights app is great. I am switching all the outlets and switches in my house to the radiant nickel and it really makes the house look great. The Wi-Fi smart switches look almost identical to the other switches with the addition of a nice small cool white led to show the switch is off and helps find it in the dark. You can manually click it on or use the app which is great. I may even buy another one or 2 for other rooms in the house.

First and foremost, these devices were extremely easy to install and integrate with Alexa. I love that 3-way wiring comes standard on the wall switches. I've tested multiple brands of WiFi switches and Pass & Seymour's products are far superior. These folks know what their doing when it comes to Smart Lighting!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great until it didn't I had this installed for over a year (maybe over two years) working awesome without any issues (ignoring the occasional power outage that sometimes needed a hard reset to reconnect to wifi). That included working relatively well with Google home, though it never displayed the correct status there. I had routines set up with it and it worked without fail. Recently, however, it got stuck in "off" mode. Even using the physical switch, the indicator light always says "off" even though the lights are on. At first I thought it might be a syncing issue with Google home, but using Legrand's Smart Lights app has all the same issues. The status is always "off", and the scenes stopped turning on the lights. I now basically have a dumb switch with an always on indicator. I see now Legrand lists this as discontinued, so I suppose it's time to recycle these and switch to a different brand. I'll still use Legrand for dumb receptacles, but I can't spend more on switches that will only last a couple of years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad syncing Bought these a couple months ago. Had trouble from the get go. I have two of the same switches set to go on and off at the same time (dusk-10pm). One switch will turn off and the other one won't. Tech support said to try deleting everything and adding them both back in with no luck. The only thing that partially seemed to work was resyncing them under settings, but was having to do this 2-3 times a week. Both have updated firmware. This is complete garbage and I will be returning them asap.

I'm using it to control a chandelier that is fitted with multiple dimmable LED bulbs and it works like a charm -- no issues whatsoever with the LED bulbs. It responds quickly and accurately. The price was also good in comparison to the others I looked at. As long as it doesn't fail or something, and continues working as it is now, I recommend it, as long as you can handle not having Homekit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some good, some frustration Who doesn't like the idea of easily connecting all your lights to one easy to use switch? It's definitely easy to set up, although I don't mess with electrical stuff so I had a friend do it. It's also easy to use. You need to have a tablet or smart phone to download the Smart Lights app and Google Home or Amazon Alexa so as to control the switch. It's mostly very convenient but I've had some trouble keeping the switch connected to Alexa so it doesn't work to it's full potential. I'm not sure if my WiFi is inadequate to run everything or what but it's certainly not working properly. I do like it and I think if I were willing to pay more for faster and more gigs of internet this switch would probably really amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I am loving my Legrand WI-FI Smart Switch. The switch was incredibly easy to install and looks very sleek as it lays flat against the wall nicely. Most of all I love the sense of security I get knowing that I can control my lights while I am away from home. I now have control to turn them off if I have forgotten or turn them on if the need arises. I think just for convenience every home should have these. New builds should be required to install the Legrand WI-FI Smart Switches in my opinion so everyone going forward will have the same sense of security or control.

My favorite thing is the app (Smart Lights) I can turn it on or off by just clicking a bottom on my phone or just asking Alexa to do it. The design is very neat, it has a little light that allows me to see the switch in the dark.

A bit deeper than a standard switch so have to try a bit harder to get the wires out of the way, but this is the case with most dimmers. These are great!!

I agreed to install and configure it through the application and a back-end service that operates things like Google Homme or Alexa where you have the option of voice command although the switch hardware does too. The hardware and instructions are clear and very accurate if you understand how the switch wiring works. It is very beautiful to the naked eye, very solid and of great quality, it is easily configured using the Google Assistant service, in addition the application gives you the option to preset the minimum and maximum light levels, making this switch an ideal aid mainly in the mornings. when you get up. and that the lights turn on with just a few simple words ..... personally I think it is an excellent item to consider at home ...... for me it is amazing ..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color Coordinated light switches I purchased 5 of these switches during a recent remodel. After quite a bit of troubleshooting on the first one, the other 4 went in without major issues. A bonus for these switches, unlike other smart switches on the market, these ones are able to be used in circuits with 4 way switches. I can not give honest feedback on the longevity of the product, as they have been installed for 3 days now. Issue I ran into, that may save someone a large headache... No need for a full story here, these switches sense the load it is controlling to turn on or off the indicator light on the face plate. This also sends info to the app to tell it the current state of the switches. If you run into the issue of the indicator light staying on when the lights are turned on, you most likely have LED bulbs, and need to have a heavier load on the switch. After changing out both of my 450mA LED bulbs to 950mA bulbs, the switch functioned as expected. With the lower power bulbs installed, Alexa would be able to turn on the lights, but not turn them off. And the app would only turn the lights on or off when the app thought it was trying to turn the lights on. Attempted to call technical support, but most likely due to Covid, the hours had changed. A suggestion for Legrand, Put a troubleshooting guide together for these switches. It looks like the status LED can show quite a bit of info. I saw the standard white, amber, and thought I saw green at one point during my troubleshooting process in the above scenario. What does each color indicate? Even if it's not provided with the units but available as a PDF download on your website. This is a good product but the technical support hours of operation are not when most people are going to be asking for help.

It's really nice to be able to turn your lights on from your driveway when you get home from work and it's dark outside. Fairly easy to install too, just shut the power off at your breaker box and the instructions walk you right through the process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excited about this switch I didn't want to be tied to Apple which is why I got this switch. It came with instructions that were easy to follow. One thing we struggled with was the wiring, it requires wires to be attached in a certain way (hot to hot) and the wires weren't labeled so we had to guess, and it worked out for us. Once hooked up we followed the instructions to install the app and it told us our firmware wasn't up to date. We couldn't figure out how to update it, but by closing the app and then opening it again it magically worked which leads us to believe it automatically updates. The switch is a little loud which was surprising, and this particular switch can be a 3 way light. We are very excited about this light and pleased with how well it works.

Questions & Answers

In the Legrand Smart Lights App, what are "Groups" used for? I can put multiple smart switches into a group, but I still can't use the group in a scene. Nor can I turn the whole group on or off together. What good are groups?

Groups are used to control multiple switches at the same time. For example, I have 2 switches that control lights in my Garage. When I want to turn on the lights, I want to turn them both on at the same time. Solution, I set up a group for both lights, and I can simply turn them on or off quickly with 1 press in the app. Scenes are for setting up timed events that your lights turn on/off automatically per a schedule that you set up.

Connected all my devices and the led is still blinking amber. This is becoming very trouble some with this product. Very poor software and customer service. Can't even email someone directly

I had this happen to 2 of my switches (1 already installed and was working and the second was a brand new one out to the box). I tried a few times throughout the week to reset , with no results. Tried it again and reset my google nest and shut the power off to the switches and once I returned the power to them, they were able to sync up.

Hi, I 've had two switches installed recently. Both of them grouped together under the same scene. Both turn on when they should, but one doesn't turn off when they should. Any ideas?

I completed all suggestions and still have issues. The only difference is now the other switch doesn't turn off at the correct time versus the other one does. The resyncing works for 1-2 days, then back to not working. I shouldn't have to keep resyncing my lights. Probably return these and try a different brand.

The Smartlights dimmer is currently only available in Light Almond, Nickel, and White. The color change kits will not work with them at this time. There has been some discussion for adding the interchangeable color facekits for this line, but it will take some time if it's approved.

I cannot get the light to connect to the wifi on the app. my wifi network will not show up as an option it only gives me a "legrand" network option which does not exist in my home. I tried flipping the breaker to the light switch and it still will notwork

Are schedules stored on the devices, or in the app? does the system need internet? If on the device, is it non-volatile memory so that power loss will not require resetting?

I have three Legrand Radiant collection wi-fi Smart switches. The app installed two of the switches that control different light switch circuits. It would not advance to install another switch. Does anyone have an idea of why that is happening?

Is it possible to run a radiant smart switch on a gas fireplace for the switch to turn on the gas??  Looks like it is a low voltage wires coming from the fireplace,.

Hello, This smart switch is 125V which is not typically advised for a gas fireplace. I would suggest contacting the fireplace manufacture for a compatible switch.

The WWRL10WHCCV2 will only work with a standard 3way switch(non dimmer) to complete a 3way application. You can use the Smart dimmer(WWRL50WHCCV2) and a HMRW(remote dimmer) if you want to dim and have Wi-Fi capability in a 3way setup.

Trying to setup 3 radiant Smart Switches. The switch cannot find the wifi that it is trying to connect with. My phone doesn't show it either.

Had switch installed to be 3-way with a Legrand Radiant Wifi dimmer switch but it will turn on dimmer but then it turns off immediately. Then when try again, neither switch responds. Is this not compatible w/ Radiant wifi dimmer switch?

make sure the led is dimmable if it is led. some are and some are not. 99% of the time it is an led power supply issue inside the bulb.

black electrical tape or solid white electrical tape to match the white. use a super small hole punch to punch out a dot. place over the led to black it out. you can also use clear colored tape to change the color as well!

Can the firmware/software be updated on these switches? I have several of them and they are running different software and firmware versions. Some of the older software switches seem to have issues. I cannot find an update process or firmware.

I recently purchased 4 of the WWRL10NICCV2 light switches. When installing one, the white LED stays on whether the switch is on or off. When using the app on my phone, the switch will only change states when cycling to the on state.

For a simple 3-way installation, would I use two of these switches (WWRL10WHCCV2)?  I plan to group with additional fixtures, so that’s why I think I will need two of these.

For a 3way, the WWRL10WHCCV2 is used with a standard 3way switch in the other location.

Switch won’t connect to intenet

Try resetting the switch(hold bottom of switch for 10 seconds) and cycling the power to it, then try adding to the Smartlights app. If you are still having an issue, contact us for troubleshooting. I have two switches; one turns on and off from set timer while the other only turns off on timer.  How do I fix the one that isn’t turning on by it self (timer)?

Second followup: The switch still cannot be added. I've tried resetting it over a dozen times with no success. So what do I do?
