Expensive dimmer only

Bad Schedule Function
Installed a year ago in my new house. I can control the lights from the app with no problem but getting the schedule to work is a pain. They worked fine for a while then stopped working. Had to go through and do a reset on every device then add back to the app. Having trouble with the schedule though

For the non-tech-savvy!
This easy-to-install dimmer switch was super-easy to attach to my wall socket, and now I want one for every single switch in the house for every single thing. It was our first ‘smart-enabled electronic, and now I see why ‘smart’ devices are so awesome! The dimmer switch is connected to an app and can even work through my Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The app itself is easy to use, as well. I am sooooo NOT tech-savvy, and this is soooo perfect for me. It’s been a lot of fun trying different light groupings on different dimmer settings, and one of my friend’s even told me I made the house look very ’alluring.’ I highly recommend this smart dimmer switch to anyone old or who, like me, just doesn’t quite excel at using all the newest ‘smart’ stuff on the market!

What an amazing product!
We are a family full of smart devices in our house so when I saw this I jumped on it!! This smart switch with dimmer is absolutely amazing!! I love it’s sleek design and the fact that you can control it from your phone! I have it set up in my daughters room so I can leave the light dim while she’s trying to fall asleep and then turn it all the way off when she’s finally asleep. Genius product if you have a kid like mine! Installation is so easy to set up also!

Perfect lighting
We've been switching a lot of our lights in our home over to dimmers because they're truly so nice to have! This universal dimmer is very high quality and looks very nice on our walls. The instructions were easy enough to follow and we had it installed pretty quick and easily. The wifi abilities are also super neat and a really great touch to have!

I absolutely love this. My lights are so bright in my house. Now, I have the option of dimming them which I absolutely love! It was very easy to install. They had well detailed directions. I also like how it has WiFi. I am able to turn them off and on with my phone or table. I also like how I can see a time for them to come on. I highly recommend this. This is so awesome! The price on this is very reasonable. The quality is made very well. It’s not cheaply made. This makes life that much easier.

This is fun!
I am really glad I tried Legrand's Smart Tru-Universal Dimmer. It responds to Google voice assistant to turn the light on or off so if my hands are full or messy I don't have to worry about trying to handle the light switch. It's also so nice to be able to turn the light off with my voice and not have to get up to go to the light switch. I feel so spoiled doing that!
I love the automated schedule so the light is on when I have late nights and don't get home until after dark but I don't have to leave the light on all day.
This smart dimmer switch works great and is a lot of fun to use. It does take a little know-how to install but if you do know what you are doing it is easy and straightforward to install. I will be purchasing more smart devices from Legrand to expand the convenient control of more areas of my home.

I am pleasantly pleased with the ease and usefulness of this dimmer, we used it specifically for our light fixture located in the dining room and it works magnificently. Also because it is is WiFi enabled we no longer have to get up to turn off our light switch instead we can quickly turn it off and on via our phones. This is a must have in every home!

I’ve always been skeptical about using smart items but decided to try the Legrand smart tru-universal dimmer , wi-fi and I have to say I love it. It’s nice to be able to control my light with a app. It’s nice to have when I’m on vacation or away from home. It’s super easy to install and use. I don’t have to come home to a dark house.

I suffer from migraines and having difficulty ready in dim lights. Not being able to have a light that offered both bright and dim lights caused such an eye strain but thanks to my new Smart Tru-Universal Dimmer with Wi-Fi by Legrand I no longer struggle!

It’s been almost a month using this Legrand smart switch.
It works very well with both google and Alexa. I use this with my google mini. The app works so nicely.
Installation was simple and instructions were very clear. We don’t need an electrician to install this. No hub needed too. I replaced this with a single pole switch. Works so well with google. Just with my voice command I can operate the lights which is amazing. This smart switch definitely added more luxury to my life. Sitting on my couch I can give commands ! How cool is this. Overall love it.

My Smart Dimmer is going off automatically
I purchased a WWRL50WHCCV2 (smart dimmer) with a couple of HMRTC (remote dimmers) for a multi-location set up. The set up works, but I do not understand why the lights would go off automatically. Each time I turn the dimmers on (either one of the three), the lights would off afterwards. I have tried turning the lights on with the app, but again they would go off afterwards. Is there a particular reason why this is happening? Other than this issue, all my other Legrand products have been working fine. Thank you!

I bought the dimmer switch. I tried to set up the smart connect for 3 days and was unsuccessful. I downloaded every app possible to connect to the device. The smart light app asked for a QR code that it did not come with... waste of money. Also, the red light has consistently blink when the light is on!!! Smh

I LOVE this dimmer!
I honestly had no idea that these dimmers existed, but I am so glad that I found this. It was an easy install and had no hiccups when setting up to wifi. I use Alexa to control my lights and dim as needed and the app for peace of mine when we're out and my semi-blind pug is home alone. I have had zero issues since installing a week ago and am planning to buy others for high traffic areas of my house. Amazing product and I highly recommend.

I received the Smart Tru-Universal Dimmer a couple of weeks ago am I’m hooked! Installation was done by a friend of mine, but that was due to my preference. He seems to install it easily and is not an electrician. Set up and connection to my google home was not a problem, and before long, google had yet another thing for me to ask of her (shutting off the light). I love that I can turn on my lights from anywhere from my phone! Great product! Highly recommended!

Uses an app to control lights!
This is for our new home we are building. What I really like about this radiant smart switch is, I can control it from my phone through an app. I don't have to have Alexa or Google products to use this- just the app. I will be able to turn the lights on in my home at any time! This will give me the added security and comfort I want.

Excellent Easy To Install Dimmer Switch With WIFI
I received the Smart Tru Universal Switch With WIFI capabilities and immediately opened and read the instructions on the installation process. I honestly could not believe how easy and quick it was to install. Typically I allow my husband to install things like this, but the directions were so clear I had no issues installing and hooking it up myself. It was very easy to hook up and works much better than I expected.

If you have basic home DIY skills this should be pretty easy for a beginner even after watching videos how to switch out switches. We used this switch for our porchlight, because we have 12 month old and 2 year old, and we always forget to turn it on when we leave. Juggling doorlock in dark with 2 babies is no fun. We have alexa in our car, so we can now just turn on our porch light as we pull up! This is so perfect, we are not sure how we lived without it.
Install was very basic and easy. Setting up with wifi and connecting to alexa was very easy. I plan to transition my whole home!

Absolutely amazing.
I loved this inwall dimmer for adjusting lights brighter or dimmer, no need to get out of your chair just select from phone App or Alexa to dim or turn the lights up brighter. The technology is great. Whats not to like about it, in addition you can operate fromswitch itself.

The WWRL50WHCCV2 can be used in a 3way but has to be paired with a HMRTC or HMRW(remote dimmer) in the other location of your 3way.

The dimmer should operate manually if wired directly to the light load and the Air Gap switch on the right side of the dimmer needs to be in the UP position for the dimmer to have power. If still having issues, contact Technical Support for troubleshooting assistance:

Nothing but problems. Legrand already sent me a replacement, but it has the same issue. It becomes non-responsive in the app, and then eventually I can't even add the switch back again after removing it. Now it's stuck in a firmware update.

I'm trying to install this dimmer as a replacement for as existing Lutron 3 way dimmer. The other existing switch is a simple (non-dimmer) paddle switch. I cannot get the new legrand dimmer to work. Why?
When using the WWRL50WHCCV2 Smart dimmer in a 3way, you need to also replace the 3way switch with a remote dimmer(HMRW or HMRTC) in the other location.

Will these dimmer WWrl50whccv2 work with apple Home?
These switches are not HomeKit compatible.
If you want HomeKit switches, you want the HKRL50WH.
If you are setting up a 3-way circuit using these switches, you would use the HKRL50WH and up to 4 HKRL60s for the second,third,fourth, and fifth switches in that circuit.

Is there a list of compatible bulbs? I have installed some A19 dimmable LED bulbs that don't seem to be working (yes, they are dimmable!). I know the switch works because I tested with dimmable incandescent and those worked fine.
The dimmer works with virtually any dimmable lamp and load on typical residential and light commercial wiring (with the exception of 0-10V LED drivers). You may need to adjust the dimmer trim levels found under the Device Settings in the app.

My contractor installed this, caulked the switch plate, and threw away the packaging. So I cannot get to the QR code very easily to set up wifi. What is a workaround for this? How can I connect to wifi without the QR code on the switch?

The WWRL50 master dimmer has to be used with remote dimmers(HMRTC or HMRW) in the other locations.

I have an older home with 2 wire electrical. Will these dimmers work with that wiring?
The SmartLights dimmer will require a separate Neutral wire to function properly so it will not work if you only have 2 wires in your electrical box.

Can you change the phase of the wwrl50 from forward to reverse without using the smart phone app? The app continuously closes when I try access the device settings.
The only way to change the dimmer phase is through the app. I would suggest contacting Tech Support to help trouble shoot your APP issue.

If I intended to only dim from one location can this switch be used with conventional Legrand three-way switches. This is how my existing Legrand sliding dimmer switches are wired.
The Smart Lights dimmer(WWRL50WH) can only be paired with the HMRW(remote dimmer) for a 3way application.

Will this dimmer work with a ceiling fan? I currently have a basic dimmer switch to turn on and control the speed of the fan there is no light with the fan. So just need on/ off and speed control.
This product is only intended to control Lighting loads. It is not designed or rated to control the speed of a fan. You can certainly to control the Light with this product but it is not intended to control a motor load like a fan.

Does the WiFi switch work with Samsung SmartThings? Being able to use an app or home assistant is one thing... I want smart rules, such as: if after sunset, turn on front door light when doorbell rings. I’m currently doing this with Wemo.
