The only complaint I have is that they don't fast charge like it says it does. It doesn't affect me whole lot honestly, I have it for emergency when my phone is about to die. THE ONLY THING IS THAT I DON'T KNOW WHY I CAN'T FIND THE COMPLETE COLLECTION. I NEED THE COAXIAL/TV CONNECTOR AND THE DATA/PHONE CONNECTOR FOR THE BRUSH NICKEL AND IT SIMPLY DOESN'T EXIST. THEY ARE IN ALL COLORS BUT THAT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE THINKING ABOUT, IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN LOCATE THEM I WOULD APPRECIATE IT; NOW IN GENERAL THEY ARE GOOD AND LOOK VERY GOOD.

These are new so I cannot attest to durability but they seem well-made and they cleared up some clutter and freed up the USB plug thingies for use with other items, so they more than paid for themselves. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because best case the USBA should be horizontal and the USBC vertical to allow more room for oversized or odd shaped electrical plugs, which so many electronics have nowadays. Switching the orientation of those two plugs would allow for more flexibility.

I'm stuck using the samsung charger as the legrand speed charges for a millisecond then goes to slow charging. Not sure why but as the last guy said there is no fast charging. Other than that it looks good.

The best testimonial I can provide is that my two daughters will switch my plug to the older outlet and plug their tablets into the 6-amp unit so they can get a faster charge. It’s sneaky but telling. This is the real deal. It’s like a supercharger for your USB devices. I installed it in a 2 gang outlet box next to an older 2.4 amp USB/Plug outlet. I’ve noticed quicker charge times and will run to plug in my phone if I need a quick bump in battery charge before I leave the house. Tamper Resistance (TR): I’ve been in the process of replacing all of my basic outlets with various models of Legrand. I did this because TR was an important thing for me to have with small children. TR outlets make it very difficult to stick something in the outlet and shock yourself. As I was going around, I started using the specialty outlets in specific locations. All have met or exceeded expectations. Output (5 Volt, 6 AMP): I learned early on to check the amperage output for all of the various styles of USB outlets. This is because plugging in both phones and tablets in the same transformer can one device to have charging problems. That is not the case with this outlet, it can charge two tablets at the same time and do it faster that the transformers that came with the devices. Grounding plug on top: The prescribed way to install outlets is to put the grounding plug on top. This is to intercept falling objects and increase the opportunity to provide a grounding path if a conductive material touches the hot line.

Adding the USB and USB C outlets allowed me to add phone chargers for both my work and personal phones without needing a power strip any longer. This was easy to install and the one piece cover provides a sleek look. Very impressed.

The quality is great and durable and its wonderful it comes with a sleek and modern looking cover/plate. Its easy to install but fills the entire receptacle box which makes it difficult to push in with the wires in the back. The built in USB slot is a game changer and makes it so easy to charge tablets and phones. It's been a game changer for our guest who never have the conventional charger plug with them.

Does the radiant series outlets HAVE to be used with radiant wall plates or can they be mixed with other brand of wall plate? We have some oil rubbed bronze plates that we love, some screwless some standard - would they work?

The Radiant receptacles will work with other manufacturers wallplates as long as they meet NEMA WD6 dimensional standards.

How many watts does the Type C charger put out?

The total watts available is a simple calculation of Amps x Volts...  Theses are listed right on the outlet, 5v and 6a.  So, 5x6 = 30 Watts.  BUT...  as the 6 amps is total for the outlet, therefore 30 watts is only available from one usb at a time.

Our USB charging outlets supply constant power at the USB ports and Receptacles. The phone has the technology in it to moderate whether it will accept the power from the USB ports.
