Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks great I ordered one and liked it so much I got a second one. Note that when the "optional" included louver is used they will not turn off, at least with the two that I have. At first I was disappointed the photocell didn't work with the louvers on, but like them so much I decided to keep them. Adjustable light levels allow you to control the amount of light they give off. I used the Legrand radiant Screwless Wall Plates and it looks like a professional installation. It was an easy install. Tip: The light will blink if the wall plates press too hard on the fixture, so you may need to finesse the wall plate installation so it does not interfere with the light's operation. It needs a small amount of travel to depress it for the different settings. Very pleased and am considering a third one!

I'd like to purchase 4 of the horizontal luver covers only. Where can I accomplish this purchase?

I'd like to use these on my stair risers to come on at night. Can 4 be wired in series? Will they light up with motion? Would I need a separate motion detector?

These are turned on/off by a photo sensor built into the lights themselves. I wouldn't suggest for them to be controlled by a switch. I would suggest the TMHWLLOUVCC for that purpose. These don't have a sensor and can be wired to a switch. can this night light be controlled with a dimmer?

The Nightlight does not have enough wattage to be able to be dimmed and it has adjustable light levels built into it's features.

I'd like to turn it on/off by wiring it to a switch (our home theater has no windows). If I do this, will the light remember its last light level setting (for example Ultra Low) after the power to it has been turned off by the switch?

What is the color temperature of this step light? I'm looking for 3000k but can only seem to find 5000k.
