Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home owner Exactly what I needed color and all. But it does not come with the locator light even though it appears it does from picture. You have to purchase separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light switch/electric outlet This device is the perfect match for a space with no receptacle nearby! It was just what I needed to add a receptacle where I already had a switch.

Questions & Answers

I want to use this switch to turn on lights over a vanity and have the outlet on costant... (Yes, it will be protected with a GFIC) How is it wired for this configuration?

Asked by: ZachS
Your HOT and NEUTRAL from the breaker get connected to the LINE side of the GFCI. One of the black leads from the switch gets connected to the LOAD HOT of the GFCI and the other black lead gets connected to the wire from your vanity light. Which snap-in light module would I order with this switch+outlet combo? I just bought the RCD38TRWCC6. I presume the "Legrand" logo lights up with the module? Thanks!

The Light Module for the Radiant combination switch is RCDLM and it will illuminate the small opening at the top of the switch so you can find it in the dark: https://www.legrand.us/search.aspx?q=rcdlm

How do I wire the Legrand radiant three way combination switch so the switch operates as a three way but the outlet always stays on?

Asked by: Mick
Hello Mike. I just bought this switch+Outlet for my coffee machine to have a switchable outlet (rather than unplug it all the time since the coffee machine doesn't have a power button). I confirm that the user guide included in the box, describes with a clear diagram your setup with three way control and permanent outlet so it will support it. You only need another three way compatible switch with Hot/Black, Load/White and Red wire inputs. Unfortunately I can't upload a scan picture. Greg

Planning to plug undercabinet lights to the receptacle outlet, switched from the switch. Hence the switch needs to operate the receptacle. Do you have a diagram for that?

Asked by: Lore
The wiring diagram is attached for the Radiant RCD38TRW so the switch controls the power to the receptacle.

I'm trying to replace a single light switch with the combo switch and receptacle, I have a black, white, and a ground wire. I currently have it wired and the light switch works but not the plug. Do I need to splice a wire in somewhere? Diagram no help

Asked by: Paintlady
Good Morning, You will need to run a jumper between the bundle of white Neutral wires and the silver screw next to the outlet. If you don't have a bundle of neutrals, you won't be able to use this kind of device in the box unless you run a new one separately. Hope this helps

On the lower right of the device between the two black screws there is a small tab that you can pull out with a small pliers.

Trying to wire 3 way legrand radiant switch where power and light fixture wires are at same switch and remaining switch only has 14-3 feeding it.  This is different than your example.  Can you send me the alternative diagram?  Thanks

Asked by: Dean
This is a way to make this work as long as the switch with the outlet is going on the hot end of the circuit where the hot/common is coming from the box. I have attached a diagram to illustrate how this would work. Basically the hot wire would attach to the hot terminal on the first switch where the 14/3 is running FROM. The red and black wires in the 14/3 would serve as travelers to the dead end three way switch that the 14/3 is running TO. Then the white wire could be marked with black tape and be used to run from the load on the dead end switch to load wire up to the light in the first box. These wires would pig tail together.
