Questions & Answers

Can the swtich be controlled by a staff only? Can the sswitch coverplate have a key lock?

Asked by: Anonymous
We don't have a key lock DLM switch, but you could use a low voltage key lock switch (like the 1250L) connected to an LMIN-104 interface. The other option would be to mount the switch in a secure area where only authorized personnel have access to it.

I'm working with an LMSW-104 switch. I would like the top (first) button to turn on the lights to 100%, the second button to turn on the lights to 50%, the third button to dim up and the fourth button to dim down. Is this achievable?

Asked by: Andrew
Yes it is. You would configure the 1st and 2nd buttons as Scene Buttons, the 3rd button as ON only, and the 4th button as OFF only, per the Button Configuration instructions in the LMCT-100-2 User Guide. The User Guide can be found here: https://www.legrand.us/lighting-controls-and-systems/software-and-configuration-tools/digital-lighting-management/digital-wireless-configuration-tool-w-usb/p/lmct-100-2?text=LMCT-100-2

CAN THE LMSW-105 OPERATE MULTIPLE TYPES OF FIXTURES IN THE SAME ROOM. WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF BRIGHTNESS? FOR EXAMPLE A LINEAR LIGHT AT FULL BRIGHTNESS AND THEN A DOWNLING AT 50%?

Asked by: MIKE
Yes, you can program a LMSW-105 to control loads separately. Please see the DLM System guide or contact Technical Support for assistance with programming the switch to accommodate your needs.

LMSW 150 Dimm switch doesn't work as intended, one scene is selected and one load on it, and pressing (holding up) the dimm switch doesn't respond

Asked by: Alejo
The LMSW-105 is a Scene switch. The solution to your problem may be as simple as reviewing the load bindings for the switch. Please review the instructions for proper settings, and please contact our Technical Support group at 800-879-8585 if you are still having a problem with it.

Where is the full operational details? I only have the quick start guide.

Asked by: Cory
The LMSW-105 is a part of the Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management System. It has to be connected to other DLM devices to work properly. The manual for the switch can be found on the website. You may also want to look at the information for the LMCT-100-2 Commissioning tool for further programming information.

The data sheet indicates that a two button (or any switch with moret than one button) can be used to dim the load. How do you set the buttons for dimming?

Asked by: Joe
Hello Joe, This can be accomplished via our LMCT-100-2(programming Infrared remote). We will need to configure the switch buttons to be an ON-only/Off-only to allow dimming control/function.

How does Legrand recommend cleaning these switches to comply with CDC recommended cleaning of High Touch Surfaces? Is there a recommended cleaner or method which can ensure the surface is sanitary without damaging the electronics?

Asked by: Anonymous
Do not apply cleaning solvent directly onto unit. Apply cleaning solvent onto a cloth, then wipe the unit to clean it.

CAN I CONNECT A LMSW-105 SCENE TO A LMRC-213 ROOM CONTROLLER AND USE THE SCENE BUTTONS TO CONTROL THE LOADS? IE: SCENE BUTTON 1 CONTROLS LOAD ONE SCENE BUTTON 2 CONTROLS LOAD TWO SCENE BUTTON THREE CONTROLS LOAD THREE AND SCENE BUTTON CONTROLS ALL LOADS.

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, Out of the box, no, scene buttons will not control separate loads. When you install a scene switch to the controller it auto binds all the loads to the switch and the scene buttons are set to 100, 75, 50, and 25% dimming values. Advanced programming can be achieved using our LMCS desktop software and USB dongle to assign loads to the scene buttons then it will work as described. This programming should be done by a Legrand FASP. Please reach out to our tech. support team for further assistance if required. Hello, May I know the maximum wattage allowed on this dimmer?. That is, if I have an LED light fixture which is 24W (wattage of the light), how many number of maximum lights can I install on this dimmer?. Please and kindly advise.

Asked by: Sai Konda
The LMSW-105 communicates with a Room Controller (e.g., LMRC-211, LMRC-212, etc.) which actually powers the load. The LMRC-200 series Room Controllers are rated for 16A for LED loads.

Does Wattstopper intend to update the aesthetic of these switches? They have the same look as they did when DLM was released in 2009. Your competitor had their first gen of products out a shorter duration and came out with a modern aesthetic...

Asked by: Innoaudits
As far as I know as of this moment we have not been informed if or when the aesthetic will be changed on Wattstopper DLM products.

I have this light switch in my classroom and the motion sensor does not pick up our movement well enough, so the lights regularly turn off. How do I adjust the switch so that the lights either always stay on or so I have longer intervals of lights on?

Asked by: Barbara
The adjustment would not be made at the switch, the adjustment would be made at the sensor. Please contact Technical Support @ 800-879-8585 for instructions on making sensitivity and time adjustments.
