Questions & Answers

What is max mounting height above finish floor for the sensor LMDC-100 – U ? We intend to install LMDC-100 – U sensor to a pendant. The bottom of the mounting box is 12'-4" AFF. Is this mounting height acceptable?

Asked by: B254
The maximum mounting height for an LMDC-100 is 10 feet. It is recommended that you use an LMPC-100-5 sensor for ceiling heights from 10-40ft. https://www.legrand.us/lighting-controls-and-systems/occupancy-and-vacancy-sensors/ceiling-wall-mount-occupancy-sensors/dlm-pir-ceiling-mount-sensor-with-extended-height-lens/p/lmpc-100-5

We have 3 LMDC-100s daisy chained together and only the first one is operational. I don't see any documentation on this type of setup. Is this a valid configuration?

Asked by: Brian
Yes, the DLM system is an open topography system and it is perfectly fine to wire in that configuration. Please call Technical Support @ 800-879-8585 if you require troubleshooting assistance.

Can LDDc-100 be programmed to function as vacancy sensor?

Asked by: TXP

I would like to use the ccupancy sensors to track the sole-occupier movements throughout a 2-strorey maisonette. If this is possible, I would then like to control lighting, HVAC, audio and video based on the presence of the occupier.
