Questions & Answers
Is there an ambient temperature rating for the DT355? Have a customer looking for a cold temperature rated line voltage ceiling sensor. Not outdoors.
Hello JB,
Please review the following information regarding the operating temperature for part DT-355.
Operating Temperature 32° to 131°F (0° to 55°C)

Can a switch or relay be added to keep these on during working hours and back to normal when after working hours?
Hi Jeff,
Sorry no, this sensor does not allow for work hours/night control. For more advanced sensor timing control you might want to consider the DLM line of products where this is achievable.

I’m having issues getting the DT-355 to function properly after installing a new DT-355. Can you explain the function of the (light level and the ultrasonic sensitivity) features?
Hi Ben,
Please reach out to our tech. support team for further assistance with programming the DT-355 or refer to the resources section of each product for cut sheets and detailed instructions for activating or de-activating product features.

One of the answers to a question asked previously was that a DT-355 Line voltage sensor could be combined with a Radiant 0-10V dimmer on the load side. Is this correct? I am about to order this combination of devices and I want to make sure.
Hello John,
Yes, you can utilize a radiant 0-10v dimmer on the load side of the DT-355 sensor. Please feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss this configuration further.

Do you have a sensor rated to 0F ?
The CB-100 is a PIR only sensor, which can operated -40 to 95F.
Please view attached SPEC sheet

can these occupancy sensors be utilized in a cleanroom setting? specifically ISO 5-9 rated cleanrooms
No, our sensors are not cleanroom certified.
Date published: 2022-06-01
What is the maximum distance the occupancy sensor can be from the ground for it to work properly
The DT-355 is designed for a ceiling heights of about 8-12 feet from the floor.
Date published: 2022-10-11
Does this sensor cover minor motion? If so, what are the distances for that?
The DT-355 is a Dual-Technology sensor that has both PIR and Ultrasonic technology built in . The sensor is able to detect major and minor motion up to 1000 sqft when mounted below 10'.

We have these thru out our warehouse, but would like the one by the entry door to stay on, is that possible?
To override all sensor functions on the DT-355, set the Ultrasonic Sensitivity trimpot to the fully counterclockwise (Service) position.
This bypasses the occupancy control functions of the sensor.

Hello, is the DT-355 sensor rated for exhaust fans?
No, the DT-355 has no rating for motor loads. I suggest looking at our BZ power packs and a 24v low voltage sensor. BZ power packs are rated for motor loads.

Comparing with the other product Ultrasonic Ceiling Occupancy Sensor, 24VDC (W-500A), which sensors would be more suitable for a 150sq.m classroom? Comparing to its technologies, lifetime and price. Thank you.
Dual technology sensors are most commonly used in this application. They work using a combination of PIR and Ultrasonic technology. As individuals move throughout a given space, Ultrasonic wave analysis and the Doppler effect help detect indirect motion while passive infrared sensors monitor presence directly.

we are looking for an occupancy sensor that will fit in a single gang electrical box. do you offer one?
Good Afternoon,
Thank you for contacting Wattstopper. We offer several sensor switch options that will fit in a single gang electrical box. Please go to our website www.legrand.us and you can search Wall Switch Sensors. We do not have an option that is a sensor only. The correct device for your situation will depend on your application and if you want a line voltage or low voltage sensor. Please let us know if we can offer any further assistance.
