Can a switch or relay be added to keep these on during working hours and back to normal when after working hours?

Asked by: Jeff T
Hi Jeff, Sorry no, this sensor does not allow for work hours/night control. For more advanced sensor timing control you might want to consider the DLM line of products where this is achievable.

One of the answers to a question asked previously was that a DT-355 Line voltage sensor could be combined with a Radiant 0-10V dimmer on the load side. Is this correct? I am about to order this combination of devices and I want to make sure.

Asked by: John
Hello John, Yes, you can utilize a radiant 0-10v dimmer on the load side of the DT-355 sensor. We have these thru out our warehouse, but would like the one by the entry door to stay on, is that possible?

Asked by: Anonymous
To override all sensor functions on the DT-355, set the Ultrasonic Sensitivity trimpot to the fully counterclockwise (Service) position. This bypasses the occupancy control functions of the sensor.

Hello, is the DT-355 sensor rated for exhaust fans?

Asked by: KB311
No, the DT-355 has no rating for motor loads. I suggest looking at our BZ power packs and a 24v low voltage sensor. BZ power packs are rated for motor loads.

Comparing with the other product Ultrasonic Ceiling Occupancy Sensor, 24VDC (W-500A), which sensors would be more suitable for a 150sq.m classroom? Comparing to its technologies, lifetime and price. Thank you.

Asked by: Nelson
Dual technology sensors are most commonly used in this application. They work using a combination of PIR and Ultrasonic technology. As individuals move throughout a given space, Ultrasonic wave analysis and the Doppler effect help detect indirect motion while passive infrared sensors monitor presence directly.
