Questions & Answers

hello, I have a LMCT that has a screen that flashes on and off, It has new batteries but It has been a year since we last used it. How do I repair it?

Asked by: nestor
Wattstopper does not have a recommendation to repair the LMCT. If replacing the batteries and resetting the LMCT does not correct the issue, we suggest replacing it.

We are looking for the windows device driver for windows to recognized the device. Can you help point us in the correct location?

Asked by: Chad
To update the LMCT-100-2 firmware on a Windows PC, ensure you have: -A USB to micro-USB cable for charging and data transfer. -A Windows-operated PC. -STM Cube Programmer from STMicroelectronics (for Windows 11). If you encounter errors, use the DfuSE Demo Software instead. -The firmware file for the LMCT-100-2. The device driver should automatically install from the Windows Driver Database when connected to your PC. If issues arise with STM Cube Programmer, the DfuSE Demo Software is a recommended alternative.

I need to update the firmware on a LMCT-100-2. Instructions say to use DfuSe Demo software. Where do I download that from?

Asked by: Nate
Due to the complexity of updating the firmware of LMCT-100-2, we recommend contacting Technical Support, using 1-800-879-8585 option 3 then option 1, to discuss the process and obtain the current firmware file.

how do i set a ceiling dual sensor to where its always on ? i thought you would change the time delay to override but when i do that it wont save the setting, only lets me goto 30min on the delay.

Asked by: dwil6212
There are two ways that you can set the sensor so that it won't turn the lights off. 1. Set the sensitivity to 'Override', and SEND the change to the sensor (note: SAVE simply saves the change to the LMCT-100-2 configuration tool, but does not send it to the sensor). 2. Unbind the sensor from the load(s) you no longer wish for it to control.

As Uaual I am unable to connect with the software DefuSE software there is no info on how to use th BIM Model ifo provided

Asked by: Anonymous
Using the DfuSe Demo software, appropriate firmware, and a micro-USB cable, a user can update the firmware in the v2 (HW-6) LMCT -100. Be sure your micro USB cable has the data pair in it and is not simply a charging cable. If the update process is followed and the app does not display choices in the "Available DFU Devices" drop-down, the cable is the most likely cause.

Trying to upgrade LMCT-100-2 from version 6.14 to current 6.29 Made it to the point where the file to upgrade is selected and the program says the file is in the incorrect format. It doesn't like the .hex file. How is it uploaded?

Asked by: Steve H
There is a problem with that HEX file and cannot be upgrade to the LMCT-100-2. A very lazy company!!!! https://legrand.webdamdb.com/directdownload.php?ti=44269428&tok=Ma3CbkORPkhMgEve/B9WyQRR

What is the toggleNT mode?

Asked by: Andy
ToggleNT is short for Toggle Non- Tracking By default, when the Type is Group, the Mode is set to ToggleNT. With this value, the button will toggle, but the LED will not track the actual settings of the loads. Additionally, the button will not track if another source such as a sensor turns the load ON. The reason for this is that the button can’t track the status of all loads in the group.

How do you reset a LMRC-213 back to factory plug n go setting.

Asked by: Kirk
There are 2 ways to reset the LMRC-213. The first is using the LMCT-100-2 go to Utilities > Force System Into PNG. It will ask are you sure? Press select again and the LMRC as well as other attached DLM products will be set back to factory PNG settings. The second method is to hold the configure button on the LMRC (or other attached DLM devices) for 5 seconds. When the red LED flashes rapidly hold the button for 20 seconds letting go when the LED begins to flash again.
