Two Leviton jacks can be installed in ALA4800 using a combination of device plate ALA-2A and CM2-U2KEYA-GY.

Hi! Can you provide a detail or explanation of how to pass through a perpendicular wall from raceway to raceway. I have a long length of raceway with an obstructing wall i need to pass through. Do I need to convert to conduit to make the passage?
Hello Mike,
The NEC permits surface metallic raceway to pass through walls with the following requirements;
Article 386.10(4) under Uses Permitted. Extensions through walls and floors. Surface metal raceway shall be permitted to pass transversely through dry walls, dry partitions, and dry floors if the length passing through is unbroken.
As long as the installation meets the two requirements above, (1) the length passing through the wall is unbroken and (2) access to the conductors is maintained on both sides of the wall.
