Love it!
I love this switch. It was super easy to install and very well made. Safety is a concern with my toddler and this helps prevent him from the electric plugs and no need for those plastic saftey covers.

Can the pop out receptacle be used as a "pop up" receptacle... mounted in a cabinet counter top? Is it UL listed for this kind of use?
The Pop Out receptacle is only rated for wall mounting. It is not rated for counter top surface mounting because it is not UL listed for spill protection.

Is there a Pop-Out outlet containing both power outlets and usb ports?
At this time the pop out outlets only contain power outlets. Devices with usb ports need to be purchased separately.

Will a standard 4 square by 1.5 inch deep box with half inch rise p ring work for pop out receptacles
Definitely not. The back end of the pop-out protrudes 2 5/16". It has push-in terminals so you could get away without wire nuts but it really does require a standard volume box

This Pop-Out outlet is rated at 15A/125V and it is not a GFCI. You could either install it downstream from an existing GFCI outlet or have it installed on a GFCI circuit breaker in your electrical panel.

The PopUp outlet can be used in a 2 gang box You must use the 2 gang kit for it to fit. Part number for the kit is ARPTR152GW2 (White) or ARPTR152GM2 (Mag. Gray).

For the pop out receptacles, are 20amp receptacles available? Where do I find the available colors for the receptacles?
Pop out receptacles are available in a 20 amp two outlet configuration in white or magnesium. The part numbers are arptr201gw2 and arptr201gm2. Please email or cal 1-800-223-4185 if you have further questions.

Can these be used outdoors?

Unfortunately, no. The device is for interior use only. It lacks any moisture seals to keep water out of the device.

Thank you for your question regarding the adorne Popout receptacle(ARPTR151GW2).
The metal mounting frame is included with the 1 gang popout outlet and it will fit into any 1 gang(2 module) adorne wallplate(not 1 gang plus size).

Is it possible to install a pop out outlet with half size USB using the 1+gangbox wallplate?
Thank you for your question regarding adorne popout outlet and 1/2 size USB port.
they will not fit together in a single gang electrical box because of the unique frame of the popout outlet. The only way to use these two together is you will need to use the 2 gang pop out outlet and the USB(you could use 2) would be installed in the open, second gang of your 2 gang box.

Our pop-out outlet is VERY difficult to open. It typically takes multiple attempts before it releases to the open position. What can we do to address this issue?

Can I use this Retractable Outlet on the floor?
The Popout outlets are not rated for installation into a countertop, floor
or similar work surface. They are for use in indoor vertical wall surfaces only.

The adorne Pop-Out Outlets require a deep electrical outlet (22.5 cubic inches). It does not require new wires for typical installation.

Can we get GFCI in the pop-out model?

The popout receptacles are not available in a GFCI version so you could either install them downstream from an existing GFCI for protection or install them on a GFCI circuit breaker.
