Adorne Smart Dimmer with Netatmo
I have several smart Tru-Universal Dimmers with Netatmo installed at two different locations. A very functional device associated with the Netatmo mesh system. In conjunction with the Legrand Home + Control app the dimmer can be controlled from anywhere one can access the Internet. Scenes and schedules can be set thru the app and modified at any time. A big plus over the previous Legrand Lighting System app is the ability to make changes from anywhere. The old app required connection to the wifi system where the switches were physically installed to add scenes / make changes. This dimmer does require that a neutral wire be available in the box where the dimmer is installed. This dimmer can be paired with a wireless (battery operated - requires no power) switch to create a 3 way switch anywhere in the home...nice feature. A very nice product and part of a very nice lighting system.

Beautiful smart switch
This is a great, albeit pricy, dimmer. The control looks beautiful and adds an architectural flair that's just hard to find in wiring devices. It can be funky to pair with the hub, but it will eventually work. For those so inclined, I've read you can use a generic zigbee hub, which may be easier to pair. There are good integrations between netamo and common home automation platforms, making this a solid choice for your home.

Smart Outlet with Netatmo
I spend 5 months at one location and 7 months at another location each year. I have experienced some Internet issues and always have had to get a neighbor to access the house to reset modems / switches.
Installing this smart outlet, and plugging in one of my switches (PoE), makes it very simple to remotely reset this switch. This is quite a convenience.
The Legrand Home + Control app provides me the ability to remotely control my smart outlet, and the PoE switch, thus eliminating the need for anyone to go to the property.
One receptacle of the switch is always "on" and the other receptacle is controlled via the Home + Control app...very cool feature.
If you decide to install the Adorne Gateway with Netatmo "system", the Smart Outlet provides flexibility.

Legrand Adorne Smart Lighting
I have 2 homes. Initially, I installed the whole house lighting controller (LC7001 Hub) and associated products and Legrand Lighting Control App. When I went to install a similar system in the second home, the product line was discontinued and replaced with the product line with Netatmo.
Advantages of this Netatmo product line:
1. The Gateway with Netatmo is much easier to add additional products to the system.
2. The Gateway interfaces with a different Control App (Home + Control) which allows for control of multiple locations. Remotely, one can add scenes, change scenes. The previous app only allowed that feature if you were on your local wifi network, useless if you are out of area. The Home + Control App offers more functionality.
3. The Gateway is part of a mesh network which creates a better wireless network within the home.
4. The Gateway interfaces with Smart Switches which have some cool features. A wireless smart switch can be paired with a wired smart switch and the wireless switch requires no wiring...it can be placed anywhere...it is battery operated. It is very easy to pair.
5. The Gateway will also interface with "4 Scene Pocket Remote", that when paired with other Netatmo switches in the home, allows the user to easily create scenarios where a touch of a button turns on all the switches paired to that number on the pocket remote. One can also pair the same switches to a different number on the pocket remote where a touch of a button turns all the lights off.
I have just listed a few advantages of the Legrand Adorne Gateway with Netatmo. I am very satisfied with the product.

Add a Switch anywhere easily!
Took a while to get used to the idea that it needs to run off a battery and doesn't have a locator light like the other switches. However, it is really nice that you can put it anywhere in the house. No wiring,no electrical box, definitely convenient.

finally something that does not need central hub
I started using Adorne 7 years ago with my new house at that time. There was no options for Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa. I am glad Ardorne offer Netatmo and I don't need to replace all my switches. Adorne is expensive but so as our houses.

there are 2 different types of gateway
Make sure you order WNAH1W1 instead of this one if plan to relocate the gateway to another wall plate. This gateway is mounted on the faceplate in a special way and not compatible with other type of Adorne wall plate.

Simple setup and it works. Not much else needs to be said. I've tried most smart home tech and very few products can claim to be both. This device is unbelievably simple, even if you're a HomeKit user. So, if you're considering the Legrand Adorne collection, then this product is a must. My Netatmo system has been working fine for over a year and I've controlled through Apple Home Kit. Now it is not working. I have all the updates on all the apps the apple operating system. All my switches and dimmers show "No Response". Any suggestions?

Does it work with Philips Hue lights?
Hi Rune, the gateway isn't designed to interface with Philips Hue lights directly. However if you're using a third party assistant such as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa or Apple HomeKit you could have devices from both systems controlled from the same interface. Can adorne® Wireless Smart Switch with Netatmo be used as outdoor switch. I like to install the main one inside the house for a patio lights which,but having the wireless one outside. Will cold weather be an issue for the outside one?

Adorne Netatmo Smart Gateway - I am not able to power up the Smrart Gateway. I checked the hot and load wires are connected correctly and measured current is running through the device. Indicator light does not light up.

Regarding the "Smart Gateway REQUIRED" - Is this solely for the bluetooth function? Can I install this outlet and use the button on it? (I know this defeats the full purpose, but still). Will this outlet and button function without the Gateway?
Hello, yes the device will still function as an regular outlet. Pressing the button on the outlet will turn the controlled portion of the device on and off. The Smart Gateway is required in order for the any wireless or smart functions to operate.

Yes, one outlet is controllable, the other constant power. You can use the switch on the outlet, a wireless switch, or a programmed schedule to turn on/off the controllable outlet.

The adorne Wireless Smart Scene Switch with Netatmo has 4 buttons which can be pressed once to activate 1 scene at a time. Ability to double or triple press each button would allow to use each button as on/off switch like Lutron or 8/12 "scenes".

For 3 way circuits, can I use one Adorne with Netatmo Tru-Universal Dimmer with one regular (non-wifi, and non-Netatmo) Adorne dimmer to operate the same light fixtures from the other side of the room? Will this work? Or both need to be Netatmo?
The only way to do a 3-way circuit with Adorne Netatmo is to use the wireless dimmers or switches in conjunction with the wired ones. This is an unfortunate decision, since the wireless versions do not have LED lights/locators and have batteries to maintained. The Adorne line needs a wired 3-way dimmer and switch ASAP.

Will these wireless support the home automation standard Matter and Thread protocols
Everyone is always trying to make a better more reliable home system that communicates with everything. This Legrand, Netatmo is flawless. I worked through Wi-Fi systems for about eight years and this one is nothing short of perfect. As well, it integrates perfectly with Alexa. I know there’s a lot of high in systems that you can spend a lot of money for, but this all just works, with schedules, with routines with multiple devices with Shades.

Can the regular adorne switches/dimmers be used with the netatmo system? or would the regular adorne switches need to be changed to the netatmo smart switches?
The Adorne Wi-Fi ready switches that use the LC7001 will not work with the same app or the same hub as the Adorne with NETATMO devices.
They will however, have the same form-factor and fit in the same adorne brackets and wallplates. From a physical installation and aesthetic standpoint you can mix and match Non-Smart Adorne switches with either the legacy Adorne WiFi ready switches and the NETATMO ones.

Is this smart switch required to connect the 'neutral' wire? My gang box doesn't have one and the light is always ON, not able to being turned OFF.

How do I set the dimmer's minimum and maximum gain settings, low voltage LEDs do not dim very much with the factory settings.
You can adjust the dimmer settings within the app, under Manage My Home. You can change the dimming phase(Forward to Reverse depending on type of LED's), as well as the high and low end trim levels(see attached image).

I want to use Adorne in a remodel I’m doing. Can you point me to some Netatmo info, not more sales brochures, describing the gateway. How many do I need, how much range do they have, can they be put into a multi-gang frame? Where should they be placed?
For adorne, the wireless "battery operated" devices need to either be in a 1-gang installation, or mount to an existing wall box. Mounting next to existing devices is not recommended.

Hello again, does this switch or any of the Softap switches have the translucent glass interface? I only ask because the pictures throughout many of the Adorne switches are inconsistent showing both translucent glass AND matte interfaces. Thank you.
At this time it's only available in the Softap interface, and no current plans for a Touch version are scheduled.
Therefore the glass interface is not available with the with NetAtmo line.
