A Tru-Universal Dimmer, this device works with virtually any 120V dimmable bulb or fixture. Made exclusively for use with screwless Wall Plates from the adorne® Collection, sold separately.

What is the difference between a regular dimmer and a master dimmer?

Thank you for your inquiry regarding our adorne Whisper wifi ready master dimmer. The difference between a regular dimmer and what we call a "master" dimmer is the wifi ready feature. If a 3 way, you can use 1 regular dimmer and 1 switch. If you choose to do a 3 way in the wifi ready devices, you will need 1 master dimmer and 1 remote switch or dimmer. Therefore, the wifi ready gives you the option of dimming at both locations while the traditional set up does not. Hope this helps!
