Not a 15 amp switch as stated
Bought this switch through Lowe’s web site. Received switch and as I was installing it noticed on the switch itself labeled 1.6 amp when it was described as a 15 amp switch. Called Legrand and questioned why the web site list it as 15 amp when actually it is only rated for 1.6 amp. They said it is to be wired into a circuit with a 15 amp breaker but the switch is only good for 1.6 amp. I tried to explain that is not how the description shows it, nowhere in the description on either Legrand’s site or Lowe’s site does it state 1.6 amp rating. So now I’m stuck with a switch that I can not use and neither Lowe’s or Legrand will refund my money since it was installed. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER at all!!!!!!! I would give 0 stars but that is not an option.

Love this switch.
This switch is super clean looking. Great feel and tactile *click* when turning it on and off. Also, this switch isn’t carried a lot in retail stores, so they definitely stand out from everyone else’s.

Shiny white fan speed control
It is beautiful.
And all this time I thought I had to live with the beige fan speed control which came with the fan. Of course it is totally discolored.

Bought six so far!
Purchased my first three to go with bedroom ceiling fans that I didn't want a downrod for (10 foot ceilings). They work perfectly so that the kids can easily control their fans without pull chains.
I then decided to have my husband remove the remote receivers in three of my other fans and installed three more of these. That's how much I love the functionality of these speed control switches. Now I don't have any remotes sitting around!
It was also a perfect solution for my two patio fans. Having two separate remotes was driving my nuts but now they are on this one switch. Perfect!

When the switch is in the high position it still doesn’t allow the fan to operate at a high enough speed. Is there a way to adjust the switch to increase the power going to the fan?
The Radiant Fan Speed controller does not have a power/voltage adjustment option.

Is this available in Gray. I only see white and tri-color?
The Radiant fan speed has interchangeable color face kits. RHKITGRY would be used to make it Gray.

Hello, My fan uses a 3- speed mechanical control i.e A Pull Cord. Can I use this Controller with my fan?
Yes, you can:
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, set fan pull chain to its highest speed (be sure fan is operating at full
speed before disconnecting power).
YOU DO NOT USE PULL CHAIN AFTER INSTALLATION OF FAN CONTROL AND ONLY USE THE FAN SPEED CONTROLLER.

Where can I find a proper wiring diagram for this fan control? The included diagram shows both the red wire and the black wire going to the Motor/Source. WHICH wire goes to the source and WHICH wire goes to the motor?
Because this device can be installed as single pole or 3way, it doesn't matter which wire between the black and red that you connect your Line(Source) and Load(motor) to. Typically on a single pole control, Black would be Line and Red would be your Load.

Hello,
The RHDH163PTC is a capacitive fan speed control.
Hope this helps,
