What is the box fill for the 3894
Per NEC 314.16(B)(4) For each yoke or strap containing one or more devices or equipment, a double volume allowance in accordance with Table 314.16(B) shall be made for each yoke or strap based on the largest conductor connected to the device(s) or equipment supported by that yoke or strap.
Lets assume you are using 6AWG wire (good for 55 amps at 60C) the table requires 5 cubic inches for each 6 AWG conductor.
Since a device requires a double allowance in this scenario the device would require a deduction of 10 cubic inches.
The rest of the deductions would be determined by how the device is wired. The number of conductors, clamps, grounding conductors used in the installation would need to be known.
Please note that the size of the deduction for the device is based on the wire size. So, if you are using a higher rated wire (75C or 90C) for the installation the overall size of the deduction for the device would decrease.

A lot of "standard" 14-50 outlets have been burning up when used for EV's. They're finding they aren't really rated for the EV loads and constant plugging in. Some mnftr's came out with a beefier EV rated one. Is the 14-50WR version truly EV rated?
I see the 3894 is good to use with #6-#10 wire. the 3894WR is good for #3 to #10. why the difference? do you offer the regular 3894 with higher wire rating?
