Can I use AC 1040 with this - that is thinner? What kind of velcro would I need?

AC1040, or if you need a less wide bracket, the AC1050 would work. C2G has a good, reasonably priced roll of velcro: https://www.cablestogo.com/product/29853/25ft-hook-and-loop-cable-wrap-taa-compliant One side is the hooks, and the other side is the loops, just cut it to the length you need to hold down whatever you need. Posting a new question as I don't see a way to reply to the previous one. Thanks for the info. If I get 363729-01Plungers & Grommets (10 Pack), will I be able to insert them into the holes in the enclosure and hang the switch using them? Thanks

Use either the AC1050 mounting plate with velcro straps or zipties, or use the AC1035-20 with velcro straps and zip ties.

Can I mount wall-mountable network switches I have (netgear gs108 / gs308) in this? What do I need for that? In general what is the way to install things like a cable modem neatly in this?

I have this metal enclosure - is there a plastic door available to fit on it, to enable wifi signal to pass at least in one direction? I recognize that performance will be reduced, but at least a plastic door will help in my situation

There are aluminum ringed doors available for those enclosures with a plastic window in the front. 364593-11 has clear glass 364593-14 has a smoked color glass

If I place routers in this will they function?  There was some question about it being metal and possibly blocking signal.  I have a 14x14 now and was going to upgrade to the 28x14

It is not a good idea to install a wireless router inside of any metal enclosure as it will block a majority of the wireless signal. We would recommend you go with the ENP series plastic enclosures instead as they are made of plastic and will not degrade your wireless signal. ENP3050NA being a 30" tall enclosure would be the closest size to the 28" metal enclosure.

Does the EN2850 come with a lock? It shows in the picture of the enclosure but no where in the spec sheet I have does it state that it comes with a lock. If there is a locking option , can you please provide the product code and price. Thanks.
