Thank you for your question regarding the adorne Accent Nightlight(Model # AAAL1G4). To install the Accent Nightlight is only requires a Hot & Neutral connection to function.

With the night light, is it a negative blue light fixture?

Thank you for your question regarding Legrand ACCENT NIGHTLIGHT, 1-GANG(Model # AAAL1G4). The adorne Accent Nightlight provides a warm, gentle white LED light below any existing switch with adjustable light level settings(Hign, Med, Low, Ultra Low, and Off).
