Questions & Answers

Can i use the ELCU to control/dim a LED fixture with integral emergency battery?

Asked by: WL
Good morning The ELCU does not have dimming capability so if you are trying to dim LED fixtures I would recommmend that you use a control modular like and LMRC 211 which is 0 to 10 volt dimming with the ELCU.

Good afternoon, can you control different lights in different rooms with one unit? Or do you have to install one device per room.

Asked by: Roman
You could if you run the lights in parallel but when you are trying to control certain lights in one area other lights may come on that you may not want to use at that moment in another area. I would recommend one per a room.

Is the EL-CU-200 rated to switch LED drivers?

Asked by: Joseph
Yes, it can switch up to 20A of LED fixtures. But I would de-rate your load to much less because of the LED inrush and other issues. A 10A LED load is huge these days.
