Questions & Answers
Has this item been discontinued?
Hello David,
I have checked our inventory, and discontinued list. The DT-305 is not an obsolete item, and is available

I work as a maintenance tech at a school. A student has removed the faceplate from the sensor. Is there a replacement faceplate available?
Wattstopper does not sell a replacement for the faceplate, but the Technical Support Department may be able to help. Please contact Technical Support at 800-879-8585 and one of our technicians will be happy to assist.

I have 3 occupancy sensors that do seem to shut off the lights when unoccupied. I see the red and green light flickering meaning we clearly have power.
The red and green are activity LEDs for the sensors, if the LEDs continue to flash when you stand still, then the sensor is likely false tripping. I suggest to start with placement, assure all sensors are 5-6' away from air supplies this is common to false trip the sensors causing lights to either stay ON or OFF.
If more assistance is needed, please call our Technical Support Team 1-800-879-8585

Is there a diagram that shows how a LVSW-104 connects to a LC8 and a DT-300 and so on? This is beyond frustrating trying to find a diagram that shows how this system is actually wired. Makes one want to use Leviton!!!
Yes, please refer to page 15 and 16 of the LC8 User Manual which shows connectivity for switches and sensors . The LVSW-104 contains 4 separate 2 Wire Momentary switches, so you will follow the diagram for '2-Wire Momentary Push Button' connections.
The LC8 User Guide can be found here:

Is it possible to have one sensor control two power packs? If yes, is there a wiring diagram of how this is accomplished?
Jason,
Yes
You will use only one RED from the LV side of the power packs and cap the other. Then wire the following two wires in parallel, Blue - control output and Black - common.

I would like to use this occupancy sensor only to control HVAC via the external contact not lighting. Is it possible to connect 24V power directly to the sensor and avoid using the battery pack?
Yes, the sensor can be powered via another 24V source, but it there's any question as to the voltage level or stability of the external source, we would recommend using one of our power packs.

Can I use a 4 square box with a single gang mud ring to mount DT-300 ceiling sensors & LMDC-100 occupancy sensors?
An Octagonal J Box is recommended for the DT-300. A standard Single Gang box is appropriate for an LMDC-100. (Please note these 2 devices are not compatible with each other.)

I have an existing system with BT-150 power packs, DT-300 Ceiling Mount Occ Sensors, and LP8 Panel. I am looking to add dimming wall switches to this system. What part numbers do I need? Can this be a wireless switch programmed to the sensor?
Hi Tier 1 Tech Support - thank you for responding. I mistakenly said dimming. I do not need dimming switches I am just hoping to find wireless switches so that i can program them to the existing DT-300 occ sensors without opening up walls/ceilings.

I want to use the internal isolated (DT300) relay output 24VAC/Vto signal occupancy vs non-occupancy to my controller. however, the controller has 0-5, 0-10 VDC, 4-20mA, and dry contact inputs.please let me know how to match output to controller input?
The isolated relay on the DT-300 is a dry contact which I would recommend you to use unless your controller need voltage. If you are needing more It would be best to contact Wattstopper Tech Support at 1-800-879-8585 option#1 for us to gather more information to help resolve your issue.

Can the DT-300 sensor be wired to have sensor turns lights on and 0-10V dimmer switch controls light output?
Hello Mark,
The configuration you have requested is possible if the Sensor is wired to the 0-10v dimmer first, followed by the dimmer being wired to the light fixture driver.
*A potential delay can occur with the lighting fixture turning on/off via this configuration.
