Advanced Security by Design
Advanced security by design is one of the core pillars of Wattstopper, offering Secure Commission and Secure Control from installation through ongoing use. Legrand’s Wattstopper DLM and Wattstopper PLUS systems are ioXt certified and meets the DLC NLC5 requirements for commercial lighting designs.
The ISO 27001:2013 Certification and ioXt Certification emphasize Legrand’s commitment to providing secure products to our customers, allow us to provide a high level of confidence to our customers that our products are secure, and help customers make informed choices on products.
The DLC is a non-profit organization improving energy efficiency, lighting quality, and the human experience in the built environment. DLC’s mission is to optimize lighting through saving energy, improving product quality, and enhancing the end-user experience in the built environment.
If a commercial lighting product has earned DLC certification, it signals a high level of both quality and energy-efficiency. In the marketplace, specifiers are driving the need for DLC certified products. To be certified, products must meet DLC’s criteria for acceptable cybersecurity standards. ISO + ioXt meet these DLC cybersecurity requirements.
Living the Mission: Secure by Design
Legrand puts customer data security and privacy at the forefront of product development, which is why we strive to meet and exceed security standards set forth by the industry and the world - to meet market demands for cybersecurity. Our security certifications are living proof that we are committed to providing our customers with the peace of mind they are investing in a secure product. ISO 27001: 2013 Certification meet requirements set forth by the DLC for cybersecurity standards.
The ISO 27001:2013 Certification is regarded as the world's highest standard for information security management and viewed as a top certification by IT stakeholders when making buying decisions. The certificate provides a high level of confidence to customers that your products are secure by guaranteeing all software, firmware, and products are protected.
The DesignLights Consortium (DLC) has recognized that Wattstopper meets the cybersecurity requirements required under DLC’s Networked Lighting Controls V5 (NLC5) technical requirements. The DLC’s Qualified Products List (QPL) includes Wattstopper’s product lines which reflects our commitment to meet cybersecurity standards.
