Questions & Answers

What does it mean when the light is solid red on the wireless bridge

Asked by: Nick
A common issue within a DLM Room is an improperly connected or faulty Cat5 cable. This can occur when the cable is not securely locked into a device or has failed. A key indicator of this issue is a solid red Config LED on any device within the room. If a device displays a solid red Config LED, systematically disconnect and reconnect the Cat5 cables to and from the device to identify and resolve the problematic connection. Additionally, consider the following questions: -Is this issue affecting other devices in the room? -Have any recent changes been made that could impact this room’s configuration? For further assistance, contacting a Technical Support Representative can help diagnose the issue and provide the necessary steps for resolution.
