Dims beautifully, no flicker
Bought “regular” LeGrande paddle dimmers and they dim great and look beautiful, but with some of our LED lights there was a flicker.
Switched to the soft tap true universal and they dim to almost off and no flicker at any light level. Love how they dim to off for an elegant effect.

Dim lighting
I am so happy with the soft top dimmer switch that I had got last week the dimmer is very easy to use. There was no need for a professional installation as the instructions were very clear it actually worked on the first try, Something I’m not that familiar with After using it I plan on going buying more for my downstairs game room and are outside party room. It’s certainly can set the mood for whatever occasion with a push of a button

Love the Look- still needs work on the value
Love the look and design of the switches. Don’t like how the dimmer has a dim (no pun intended) locator light vs. the regular switch- which isn’t visually appealing and super irritating considering the price. Looks really bad on a 2+ gang switch when they are right next to each other. Also- my tru universal won’t turn on my LED pendants unless it starts on the highest power vs. the lower end. So much for versatility. Once again as many reviewers expressed- at this price point- we demand perfection and flawless execution as there’s nothing out there more expensive. GET IT RIGHT!

I have all touch magnesium switches. I need 3 dimmers. I can't find a 3 way touch dimmer in magnesium that I need. The soft touch does not have the glass face like the touch correct?
correct. we have no problem with 3-way soft touch dimmers. have also used soft touch dimmer wifi for area where there are 3 controls for hall lighting. programming can be a challenge but once done, it's great.

Can the sofTap switches and dimmers be paired with Paddle switches and dimmers in 3-way configurations? (Obviously not double-dimmer circuits, but these three possibilities: Paddle + sofTap, Paddle Dimmer + sofTap, Paddle + sofTap Dimmer.)
Yes You can use these Devices together. The Paddle products will work with our Non-wifi ready Softap products.

I purchased & installed the SOFTAP™ DIMMER SWITCH, 700W TRU-UNIVERSAL. I am using a BULBRITE ~ LED Filament, 7W, 800 Lumens, 2700K, Medium Base, Fully Dimmable bulb. The light will NOT dim. Have I purchased the wrong dimmer or the wrong bulb?
The dimmer that You are using is Our True universal dimmer. It is designed to dim a wide variety of bulbs. I would recommend calling into our tech support team at 1800 223 4185 and We can help troubleshoot these issues

I purchased this dimmer to replace a switch that controls 9 existing recessed lights that use 11W BR40 LED replacement bulbs. We cannot get the switch to work the dimmer indicator lights just flash. Do I have the wrong dimmer?
I had better luck with the paddle dimmer for CFL/LED, https://www.legrand.us/adorne/products/dimmers/adpd453lw2.aspx. The Softap, which I used initially for LEDs and LED replacements that are linked did not work well.

Can one dim in three way situation from both sides
Thank you for your question reagrding the adorne Softap dimmer(Model # ADTP703TUM4).
With this dimmer in a 3way, you can only dim from one location and you would have to have a standard 3way switch on the other end of the circuit. To dim from both locations, you could use the Softap Master dimmer(ADTP700RMTUM1) in one location and the remote dimmer(ADTPRRM1) in the other.

Can I control a 3 speed ceiling fan (or 4 speed if you consider “off” a speed) with this switch?
No You cannot control a fan with this dimmer. This dimmer is made strictly for lighting loads. If You want to control the speed of the fan You would need to use our Paddle Fan speed control Model: AAFN4S16A

Will this switch work with Just a hot and Neutral??
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Tru Universal Dimmer. This device requires a hot, neutral, and load wire to the light. If you only have two wires in the box, you probably have a hot and a load wire to the light, with no neutral. The device needs the neutral to calibrate itself to the lighting load. Without a neutral, the device will not function properly. Hope this helps!

What dimmers switches do I use to control 2 sconces on the sides of bathroom mirror. One switch will be in the bathroom and one switch will be in the bedroom? Thanks
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our adorne sofTap tru universal dimmer. If you are looking to use one dimmer and one switch, you can use this dimmer with say an ASTP1532W4. If you are looking to dim from both locations, you must go with the wifi ready devices, which would be an ADTP700RMTUW1 and a ADTPRRW1. I am trying to replace a normal adorne paddle switch with this dimmer switch. However, it only has a hot and 1-pole wire attached, and attaching them to the dimmer switch doesn't seem to work. Do I need to attach a white wire as well?
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our sofTap Tru Universal dimmer. This device needs the neutral wire connection, so you will need to attach the white (neutral) wire. The dimmer requires the hot, neutral, and load wire to the light. You must snap the device into the grounded mounting frame as well for it to work properly. Hope this helps!

Can the sofTap™ Dimmer Switch, 700W Tru-Universal be used with Sylvania 73835 Bright White 4000K Ultra RT4 50W LED Recessed Downlight Replacements?
Thank you for your question regarding adorne Softap Universal Dimmer.
We have not tested this exact Sylvania LED with our dimmer but we have tested their similar models of recessed LED's and they worked fine so it should work without any issues. The dimmer usually responds well to them when it is put into Reverse phase(as explained in the instructions).

Unfortunately not. The ADTP703TU is a standard dimmer and must be paired with a switch in a 3-way setup.

Will the lscl453pwccv4, dimmer work with under cabinet, led , direct wire, light fixtures ,3 in a series, approximately 38 watts total?
The LSCL453PW dimmer is designed for 450W CFL/LED dimmable bulb and 700W Incandescent bulb only. If your under cabinet LED's have a low voltage transformer or driver, I would recommend using the universal dimmer to control them(RH703PTUW or RH703PTUTC):

Do I need to use a magnetic or an electronic driver for the LED under cabinet lighting that I will be using with this # ADTP703TUM4 switch?
Hi David! Thank you for your question. If you are going to be using the LED Slimline lights in the adorne Under-Cabinet System then you will need to use our driver; making sure to use the appropriate driver for the length of lights you have. If you have up to 5 feet of lights, you will use the 30 Watt LED Dimmable Driver, with part number ALSLDR30TM1 in Titanium or ALSLDR30W1 in white. If you have up to 10 feet of lights, you will use the 60 Watt LED Dimmable Driver, with part number ALSLDR60TM1 in Titanium or ALSLDR60W1 in white. The LED Linear Light does not need a driver. Re: ADTP703TU. Is it common during "power return after blackout" for the LED lights to go to max brightness for a few seconds? If so, is there a way to stop the lights from flashing on?
