I have a mix of cat 5e and cat 6 wiring. Can I punch the cat 5e wiring onto this panel along with Cat 6 wires?

You can, however the termination will be poor as cat5e is a thinner gauge wire than cat6. The 110 IDC jacks on this unit are set for the spacing of typical Cat6 wiring. So, while it may work, the terminations will not meet the EIA/TIA specifications for terminating Cat5.

I used pin configuration T568B on the other end of my CAT6 cable. Should I use the color coding on this module? How is the pin configuration set up on the AC1068?

Our units are marked using the 568A Configuration. Replace white/orange with white/green Replace Orange with Green Replace White/Green with White/Orange Replace Green with Orange In other words swap the orange and green pairs and you'll be set for 586B.

I have RJ45 coming into interface module, I punched down my Cat 6 according to the diagram, my downstream is also RJ45, when tested it is reading in reverse, why? scanner hooked to interface reads 1-8 as it should scanner hooked to endpoint reads 8-1

Is the ideal cable routing for this panel up through the bottom and then loop the wire over the top onto the punchdowns? I haven't seen any photos of well done installations with this particular panel.
