With regard to your Legrand Wall Plates, what is the difference between Box Mounted and Strap Mounted? I want to mount the wall plate directly to the mud ring on a 4" electrical box. Thanks

Thank you for your inquiry. Please review the following examples: -Box mounted - Wall plate attaches directly to the electrical box -Strap mounted - Wall plate attaches to the strap of the electrical wiring device such as a switch, dimmer, or outlet.
