Simple, Entry Level Design

The LE cabinet is a simple, entry level configure-to-order server and network cabinet platform that offers improved thermal management and airflow while still maintaining its configurability. For companies looking to place higher-quantity orders, the LE cabinet is a great fit, boasting a high dynamic load rating of 3,000 pounds and taller cabinet heights compared to its competitors in the same category.

This cabinet is constructed primarily from steel and offers a 4,000-pound static load capacity, ensuring that it meets your data center needs. The door has a 80% open perforation material for airflow, allowing devices to receive adequate airflow and function at peak efficiency.

The LE cabinet platform was designed with the same strength and reliability as our other cabinet platforms but in a more basic offering to best suit customers needing to deploy cabinets in volume.

Features

Frame

Fully welded steel construction allows for higher static and dynamic load ratings. The LE cabinet has integrated eye bolt holes to support lifting the cabinet within the data center. Multiple slots located in the base of the cabinet allow for anchoring the cabinet down to the floor and bypass tile edge locations. To anchor the cabinet externally from the frame utilize our combination air skirt/anchor bracket. Ganging cabinets together is achieved through surface mount brackets that allow for 600mm or 24”W spacing. For easy modification of component placement, visual aids are built into the frame for every ¼ inch, ½ inch and 1 inch of movement along the depth (components are fully adjustable from front to rear)

Door


The LE cabinet door is robust, with an 80% open perforation material, allowing airflow to pass to devices and run at peak efficiency. The door has a 180 degree opening for easy access of the internal equipment during installation or moves, adds and changes. Lift-off hinge design to allow for doors to be kept safely away from cabinet while being outfitted with equipment. Full door or split door can be installed on either front or rear of the cabinet for increased flexibility.

Top Panel


The top panel is designed to accommodate cable access from the front or rear. Cable openings are brushed to protect cables while maintaining thermal integrity. The large cutouts allow for high amperage PDU whips (up to 125A) or high volume of data cables to be routed into or out of the cabinet. The overhead ladder bracket supports cable runway or basket tray from the cabinet so overhead infrastructure is not required. The brackets are adjustable along the depth of the cabinet and located 6 inches above the top of the cabinet to maintain proper radius of cables transitioning into the cabinet.

Thermal Management


The LE platform is designed to improve energy efficiency by allowing for greater airflow in the cabinet. The fully welded steel construction prevents airflow leakage and improves overall efficiency. The floor skirt, which can be mounted to the cabinet either internally or externally, prevents cold air from flowing under the cabinets in the front or rear. The bottom panel is split for easier installation including day two additions. The thermal management package seals the openings of the cabinet preventing airflow from leaking (even without side panels).

Power and Cable Management


The LE platform boasts a large cable entry for high amperage PDUs (up to 125A), supporting and improving the efficiencies of the devices contained within it. As you enter the cabinet choose PDU/Lacing bar for a multi-purpose solution or Wire Trellis for large bundle cable management. Route cables vertically along the height and support them using the cable management fingers to prevent damaging cables. When strictly installing PDUs on either side of the cabinet, utilize our simple PDU brackets that mount directly to the frame (multiple PDU button spacings available). For additional bonding of devices to the cabinet, copper busbar is available.
